There’s Nothing Shameful about Walker’s Being a College ‘Dropout’
National Review Online ^ | February 12, 2015 | Charles C. W. Cooke

Posted on 02/12/2015 11:39:56 AM PST by Cincinatus' Wife

Were he to become president,” Howard Dean jeered this morning on MSNBC,Wisconsin’s Scott Walker “would be the first president in many generations that did not have a college degree.” This, Dean concluded was a disgrace. “He’s never finished,”he spluttered, and “the issue here is not just an issue of dancing around the question of evolution for political reasons, the issue is how well educated is this guy? And that’s a problem.”

Thus was one of the most successful politicians of recent years condemned for lack of a certificate......

......Sorry, Mr. Walker, you have the wrong colored dot on your forehead to run for higher office....

....This being a democratic republic,it is dangerous in and of itself for our elites to condemn as unsuitable for office those they consider to be “less educated” than themselves. But it is downright repugnant to watch certain members of the journalistic class meditating on the question of whether a man who has been infinitely more successful than themselves should be deemed ineligible for want of their preferred credentials. It is difficult, too, not to divine a touch of caste-system snobbery in the initial inquiry. As higher education becomes increasingly fetishized, those who do not possess the right letters after their names will be increasingly in danger of marginalization-even, it should be said, when they are successful and happy and full of self-assurance. If Scott Walker is the nominee, there is no doubt his detractors will play as subtly but as brutally as they can on his being a “dropout,” nor that the professional class that determines the shape of the debates will mutter in irritation that he is not one of them. If he has any sense about him,he will refuse to entertain the premise. “Sure I didn’t finish college,” he will say. “But look where I am now. This is America, goddamnit.”

Wow, Walker was tardy to French class. They found his professor and he remembered why he was late. Nobody remembers Obama attending any class. Americans are pretty stupid if they cant see thru this.

They've already defined us.....as losers who need their guidance.

Obama speaking to a select group at a fundraiser in San Francisco:

"Go into small towns.....They cling to their guns and religion, or have antiphaty toward people who are not like them, are anti-immigrant ....it's a way to expunge their frustrations....."

The Media can poke around in the Republican candidate’s past like bioarchaeologists, but don’t do squat about the DemonRATs. Zer0 went to Occidental College, Columbia University, and Harvard Law School. We know nothing about what he did, the friends he made or his grades.

In regards to the Hildebeast, there is plenty of things out there. In a article by Stanley Kurtz, “Why Hillary’s Alinsky Letters Matter,” there is enough there to merit rejection by the American electorate:

This guy really has no idea what goes on in this country.

I wonder how much of the USA he had visited before his meteoric rise from nowhere.

“At least Walker knows how many US states there are.”

According to our elite rulers there are only about 15 states that count.

Palin, in my opinion, was over-exposed after the election from the reality show to her books.

The two serious contenders I see are:
Gov Scott Walker
Sen Ted Cruz

The death of the Republican party is Jeb Bush on the ticket for 2016.

I bet we see his transcripts before Obama’s, if they even exist.

Jennings’ father was a prominent Canadian radio broadcaster (back before TV was in every home). He surely had some help along the way, but in the end he looked and sounded the part - if he wasn’t that smart, I couldn’t tell.

No one gets to be part of the inner circle of “PRAVDA/American-style” unless you go to Columbia, the gatekeeper of all that is wrong with Journalism aka SJW.

All those Alinskyites will be relentless in their pounding of Scott Walker or anyone else who looks like a viable choice that can’t be controlled by the Elites. How Walker handles it will tell us a lot about his toughness, maturity and street smarts.

No, but there is a problem with overhauling the mission of the state education system when you don’t have a diploma.

His answer should be “I just couldn’t handle the indoctrination any longer!”. That might put the question to rest.

Look, I don’t care if he has a degree or not. In my book, he is already disqualified by virtue of being a governor. But he might win anyway because a lot of Americans are okay with rampant government. If he becomes President and starts turning universities into vocational schools, then his lack of a degree will damage his credibility.

I forget who said that he would prefer to pick a name randomly from a phone book that from the roster of Harvard’s professors. In any case, he was right.

A great line!

"I should sooner live in a society governed by the first two thousand names in the Boston telephone directory than in a society governed by the two thousand faculty members of Harvard University."
