The following memo was sent from NBC News President Deborah Turness to NBC news staff on Friday:

This has been a difficult few days for all of us at NBC News.
Yesterday, Brian and I spoke to the Nightly News team. And this morning at the Editorial Exchange, we both addressed the wider group. Brian apologized once again, and specifically expressed how sorry he is for the impact this has had on all of you and on this proud organization.

But as the head of NBC news she needs to man up and remove him as anchor - he's discredited. This isn't about Deborah Turness's ability to be a great "mommma'.... or a loving forgiving woman - it's about doing a job.
They all lied about “no WMDs in Iraq” too.

I think Rosie O’Donnell would be an excellent replacement for him. I understand she is available.
Then again, some would have called firing him as “throwing him under the bus.” Just like their Messiah is wont to do...
I hope they keep him as the anchor. It just discredits everything he says. If he ever interviews any Republican or moderates the presidential debates, we need to be like Chris Farley on Saturday Night Live doing the Chris Farley Show; “Hey, like Brian, ‘member when you told that lie about the helicopter in Iraq? Member that, man? Like, that was awesome. Do another one!”

Obviously he’s done. If you were in the running for the job, you would’ve heard from us by now. You’re not, so stop with the calls and the emails.
And don’t set your sights on my job, either. Even though an American would NEVER occupy the top spot at a British news network, because the British people wouldn’t stand for it, it’s bigotry when you former colonists point that out and suggest maybe a Brit isn’t the best person to be at the helm of an American news network. So watch it, or I’ll flag your bigotry. And sexism.
So no talking to other media while I figure out how to keep my job, ease Williams out, and how much I can chisel down Katie Couric to come fill in for a couple weeks till the new replicant’s plastic surgery scars are healed. In fact, everyone just shut up.

Oh brother, a self pity party where people are supposed to feel bad for them. I noticed how there is no mention of the military in this memo.

Difficult Days? Well does not the truth matter anymore at NBC. Please forgive me as I go the toilet and puke.... ( A difficult day is when your urine is like hershey’s chocolate syrup and you have the stent that get stuck in the kidney and have to go through emergency surgery to remove it, than tell me about a diificult day. - just this week). Now I can finish my comment Brian Williams objective journalism just like the Obama Administration is really the only transparent presidency in US History. More of the NBC bullcrap apology.

They “can make sense of what all has transpired” by putting this asshole on the unemployment line. THAT is what is just and true and befitting the supposed integrity of this so-called news organization.

Which bring us to another disturbing element of Brian Williams’s character (or lack thereof). It has been reported that he frequently visits the set, and complimented her on recent “work,” which included a graphic anal sex scene, and a scene where her character goes into a public restroom to masturbate.
He must be sooo proud. And quite predictably, he praises the work of the perv who created and headlines the show, Lena Dunham. In fact, Ms. Dunham describes Williams as being on the set more frequently than some of the production crew:

Haven’t had HBO as part of my cable package in more than a decade. Don’t miss it one bit. As for Mr. Williams, the “unmitigated joy” he feels about seeing his daughter used as a sex object highlights what a sick S.O.B. he really is.
