Head coaches have been fired for play calls that can only lead to game losing interceptions by the opposing team’s defenses-just like what we saw by the Pats D....Seahawks just lost their cool and made me less of a fan of the team and NFL, bad season PR-wise for them all around.

Can someone explain XLIX (49 or 51) and not IL. What are they going to do next year, XXXXX?

If it was that arrogant Pete who made the stupid call on second and goal from the one, instead of running Lynch two more times, then it is a fitting outcome for the dirty coach. The young man, Butler, learned a super lesson, that doing the home work pays off, bigtime!

Congrats, Pats. Boo bellycheck.

The sea gulls lost. Wish the Broncos had been there, but they played a terrible game against the gulls.

“Worst play call “
No, they made risky calls for deceptive plays and had great success... until then. They were just doing what they do.
I’d have run Lynch though for sure.

I said it was a dumb call, but he has made some other audacious calls to win games. They were lucky to be in that position with that miraculous catch by Kearse on his back. The ball bounced their way. Sometimes you need to be both lucky and good.

They actually going to use “50” and not Roman Numerals. By the way, 50 in Roman Numerals is L.

I didn’t say anything about the black eyes. I commented on this “The Year they added an asterisk by the winner’s name of the SuperBowl.” Which has nothing to do with Rice .

Seattle really comported themselves poorly at the end. They reflect their coach who left his college program on probation to come to Seattle. I really like Wilson but Lynch and Sherman ... They’re going to have big off field problems with the salary cap when they make Wilson the highest paid QB in the league. They won’t even make the playoffs next year.

Best SB ever. Yes, it was a dumb call by Carroll, but he has always been a gambler going for the jugular every time. It backfired, but many of his other calls didn’t. He rolled the dice once too often and came up craps.

I agree. His first big gamble changed the momentum of the game, and almost KO'd the Pats. If the game comes down to one or two plays at the end, anything can happen, and it did.

I think Deflate-gate was used to give the Pats an “US AGAINST THE WORLD” feeling and motivation to win the Super Bowl, it seems to have worked...

If we’re talkin’ fantasy hubby would want the Lions and I would want the Bears only if Ditka is coaching. Packers would be good too.

Well I do think Seattle is a lot like New England in that they seem capable of plugging new players into their system and getting results.

I think the SeaHawks rowdiness at the end probably reflects on those few bad-### types as you mentioned and not on the team so much.
