Jeb ‘Put Me Through Hell’ (Michael Schiavo)
Politico ^ | January 29, 2015 | Michael Kruse

Posted on 01/31/2015 3:01:48 PM PST by EveningStar

CLEARWATER, Fla.—Sitting recently on his brick back patio here, Michael Schiavo called Jeb Bush a vindictive, untrustworthy coward.

For years, the self-described “average Joe” felt harassed, targeted and tormented by the most important person in the state.

“It was a living hell,” he said, “and I blame him.”

Michael Schiavo was the husband of Terri Schiavo, the brain-dead woman from the Tampa Bay area who ended up at the center of one of the most contentious, drawn-out conflicts in the history of America’s culture wars. The fight over her death lasted almost a decade. It started as a private legal back-and-forth between her husband and her parents. Before it ended, it moved from circuit courts to district courts to state courts to federal courts, to the U.S. Supreme Court, from the state legislature in Tallahassee to Congress in Washington. The president got involved. So did the pope.

But it never would have become what it became if not for the dogged intervention of the governor of Florida at the time ...

Mr. Bush looks mostly like a good guy in this case.

He looks like a LOSER because he is a LOSER.

Incompetent and ineffective.

A WEAKLING.

I heard a couple of faggots even beat him to buying the "jebbushforpresident.com" domain.

Really? Obama got slapped down by the US Supreme Court a couple of times recently. I am no Bush fan, but you have to call the facts as you see it. When a unanimous FL SC turns down legislation you signed, what next? You think if the USSC declares Obamacare unconstitutional he will defy the court? No chance in hell.

Yes, a weak man for the sake of political expediency let an innocent woman die an awful death, as did his equally weak brother, George, who could have also saved her. Weakness runs in the Bush brothers, they are too weak, too lacking in moral courage and conviction to ever occupy positions of authority, and God-willing no Bush will ever live in the White House again!

The Law is whatever the guy with the guns and the power says it is, and as long as no one steps in to stop that guy, then that guy MAKES THE LAW.

I don’t know about Obama, but I know the GOP DOESN’T HAVE THE BALLS TO STOP HIM EITHER.

Except he’ll never get THROUGH hell. He’ll land there, and there he’ll stay.

I disagree with you entirely as I think the Rule of Law allows civilization.

However you are honest and I appreciate that.
People here wanted Jeb Bush to do exactly what Obama is doing now ...I say no to anyone ruling outside the law no matter who it is.
So i think Jeb pushed as far as he could and lost and as far as this case was concerned Obama is ruling by fiat and we all lose because of it

The Judges our are Masters?
Sadly yes unless you change the constitution. Looks what’s happened around with gay marriage and abortion.

Please explain (rationally) why you’re surprised that anyone would be upset about the public torture and murder of an innocent woman.

Up to a point, of course. Rebellion may make more sense when the point is reached. Not even law is divine, it is only human. What when it sends humans to death camps?

Apparently it was "decided" that Terri would become a martyr through her torturous, cruel death. What a way to treat a helpless disabled person- And her parents had to watch the whole sickening murder under threat of arrest or being removed from the room.

The only consolation is-To all those involved directly or indirectly in Terri's execution:
You will be thrown down on your face, and you will answer for what you have done-You will answer to ALMIGHTY GOD.

I wouldn't want to suffer your fate for all the money or power in the world.

As for Jeb Bush- No.(Period)

Perhaps to use another metaphor, however, the Grinch may be the one who ends up serving the roast beast. Never say never; always leave room for the work of God.

You stated it better than I ever could.

Jebbie could have used his executive power to save the life of an innocent victim of a depraved brutal husband. Domestic abuse at its worst.

He chose to use lawyerly evasions and look the other way.

50 million pro-life conservatives will not overlook these facts.

Hey n00b, this is a pro-life conservative Christian site. If that doesn’t suit you, you can always wander back to Huffington Post, and tell them we’re all suffering from BDS.

Did you see more than just this article? Jeb did not stop the murder of Terri Schiavo. He prevented anyone else from rescuing her. He played politics with her life, and in the end helped Michael Schiavo murder her. Schiavo is just cranky because Jeb delayed the murder while weighing the potential political fallout.
