Just think how much money the government can make by legalizing prostitution and then taxing it! And drugs too!

BS!
They will all apply for welfare/section 8/Medicaid/food stamps, and keep working for cash.
The only government that makes out on the deal is Mexico!

What does it costs states and the American people to pay for police, jails, education, healthcare, welfare, lost Americans’ jobs, etc?

By this logic, we could import a billion illiterate third worlders and our tax debt would evaporate.

While keeping illegal immigrants in the shadows would save the government billions on spending, it would also mean billions in taxes that never get paid....Bull Cheese.
Just how many billions will be subsequently paid out in Welfare Benefits, EBT cards, Section 8 housing, and on and on and on....

If the comparison is keeping illegals in the shadows (meaning working in the US, but not legally), then yeah.
But if the comparison is kicking the illegals out so that Americans can take those jobs, then no. Americans taking those jobs not only generates the same amount of taxes if not more, but reduces the cost of food stamps and other support programs that they were on.
