Hillary has changed (possibly converted to Islam) and would probably wear a scarf today, IMO.
I have mixed feelings.
I lean toward “When in Rome, do as the Romans do.” It would be a modest gesture of respect toward Islam to wear the head scarf, and I’m not inclined to fault HRC for doing so. I also think it adds credibility for when HRC turns around and slams Muslim nations for their support of terrorism and other evils.
On the other hand, if the Saudis say that the scarf is optional for foreigners, and of course this is as it should and must be, I don’t fault Michelle O for exercising that option.
I guess what I am saying is that a head scarf or lack thereof is not something I’m going to get worked up about either way when no one else is worked up.
Given the mendacity of these Middle Easterners, this should be a very, very minor issue either way.
The first “lady” doesn[t need to wear a head scarf under sharia law. Michael does, however, have other sharia deficiencies.
This will be the moment that goes down in history that I TOTALLY AGREE with Michelle’s decisions and behavior. No headscarves for free women. Ever.

Wow, perhaps it’s because Mrs. Obama is black that they are making a fuss about her not wearing a scarf. They didn’t make a fuss about the white first ladies not wearing a scarf. Are they racists? And regarding Condi Rice, I’m sure that while Ms. Rice is being diplomatic and saying the King meant well by giving her a “shroud” to wear, that she knows that more then likely he really was insulting her and trying to let her know where she belongs. Again, are they racists?
In other words, Laura Bush did it first, but Michelle is, well, Michelle, so she's MUCH more bold to have followed Laura's lead!
