Fairly well balanced, for Politico. Which is to say, it's pro-Obama, for the most part. And if David thinks that by 1987 the Soviet Union was a "former enemy" he's smoking Colorado tobacco.

If we had a society in America that was able to call out Obama for the deceiving liar that he and his key players are, we would not need another nation's mouthpiece to explain it for us.

given we have someone in the office of the President who is (apparently) not even a citizen and most certainly not a constitutionally-qualified natural born citizen...
what rules?

“’There appear to be no rules anymore.’ “
Must be referring to Obama’s pen and phone.

The liberals like to punk the conservatives, but then they cry foul when they get punked. The Libs need to grow up.

“There appear to be no rules anymore” is exactly what I’ve been saying is the attitude the Republicans need to start taking now and then. Fight fire with fire.

Balanced? By what standard?
First...I don't remember Politico complaining about the O writing his own laws.
Second, his first example is false equivalence. Boehner asked about an appearance in front of Congress and got no answer. O declined to give input.
Compared with? O inviting someone to appear BEFORE CONGRESS.
How are these in any way equivalent?

You can’t say there are no rules anymore without pointing your finger directly at Barack Hussein Obama. The “no rules” bull**** was his idea.

I’m certainly one who sees it as appropriate, though weak, payback for Obama’s executive over-reach on many matters. Not to mention inserting the Congress into the negotiations with Iran that will accentuate the tension between Menendez and others vs. Obama, just as Obama plays the Republicans off against one another on immigration and even abortion, as last week. Not a mention of these obvious items, so i don’t see it as a balanced account at all.

Poor Politico doesnt even know that Democrats invited Cameron to interfere in UK elections, or that Pelosi visited Assad to spite Bush in 2006.

They need to also invite Newt and or Cheney or, if there are any direct descendants of Winston Churchill for a speech, just to tweak the petulant pantywaist.

There appear to be no rules anymore.
Oh, like when Bush43 was out of the country, and Dingy Harry Reid took the unprecedented step on dumping on Bush?
To: 2ndDivisionVet
There were no rules about this sort of thing, only “protocols’ or understandings. Congress has made no law about whose permission a foreign head of state must get before speaking to Congress.
