Despite the French president calling for “unity” in the light of the Charlie Hebdo massacre, an almighty row broke out on Thursday after the National Front were not invited to Sunday’s Republican rally.
France’s politicians were not able to show their new found unity for long.
Just a day after the Charlie Hebdo shooting left 12 dead and had politicians calling for the country to unite, a row between politicians broke out after the National Front were not invited to take part in Sunday’s rally for “national unity” in Paris.
For her part Marine Le Pen was furious that the party, who came out on top in the European elections last May, was “excluded” from the march.
“It is very clear,” Le Pen said. “They say that the Front National (FN) are not welcome to a meeting where every other party is invited. There is no longer national unity, it’s disappeared because of their actions.”
The party also fired out a tweet saying: “"The first party of France excluded from the demonstration! It's a moral fault.”
Marine le Pen publicly rejected her father’s anti-semitism long ago and has been reaching out to the French Jewish community for many years. There are articles from 2011 on about this and conservative Jews have come to embrace her policies. The supposed funding of European conservative parties by Putin is a current socialist meme. What Putin is really funding are the Greens and the environmentalists who oppose petroleum extraction and nuclear power, all to increase European reliance on Russian natural gas. Her father, warts and all, was a French nationalist, not a Nazi. Gusty and Sakic’s views on the subject need updating.
If National Front should win an election—they will cancel the outcome.

Your description does not apply to UKIP, The Sweden Democrats, The National Front, or Pegida in Germany, but then I would not consider any of them to be "far right". Only the skinheads of yore, released by the collapsed GDR, would merit your description.
Also, I think National Front has made efforts to “court” Jewish voters in France. Look who has harassed the Jews in France. If any attacks have been from home-grown skinheads, it’s rare, it’s mostly the Muslim community. Articles are on it.

You may not have noticed, but Geert Wilders and his PVV is called "far right" by the Eurocrats and other biens pensants on the other side of the pond, and doesn't fit your description. Your warning is worth taking into consideration, but whenever a European calls some party "far right", all you know is that the party is opposed to multiculturalism and has some inclination to defend the national culture. They might be anti-Jewish and pro-Nazi, or they might not, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the any party that's in danger of losing an election to them along with the EU bureacrats in Brussels want you to think they're Nazis, whether they are or not.

I guess back in 1997 some of the editors who worked for Charlie Hebdo pushed to have the National Front party banned because the NF wanted to tighten the rules for immigrants.
