Jeb Bush calls for ‘respect’ of same-sex marriages
Washington Post ^ | January 5, 2014 | Philip Rucker

Jeb Bush, a likely Republican presidential candidate, called for "respect" of same-sex marriages on Monday as his home state of Florida began allowing gays to wed following a court ruling.

Bush, a former governor of Florida, said in a statement that even those like him who oppose same-sex marriage must "respect the rule of law" now that the state's ban on gay marriages has been ruled unconstitutional.

By acknowledging legalized gay marriage in Florida -- though stopping short of outright supporting it -- Bush has struck a more conciliatory tone than many of the other Republicans eyeing presidential runs in 2016.

As far as I can tell, there isn't a bit of difference between the Bush and Clinton families. They may claim to have different agendas, but they don't.

agree.

Bush , Clintons and soon the Obama’s.

I’m fed up of these elitist out of touch people. They are elected because of the ignorant and then never fight for what is right , especially social issues.

It’s not even a question of direct molestation. Would exposing your child to sexually explicit material be considered abuse? I have a suspicion that what I just mentioned is more common. Or how about not helping your child know about what proper relationships are? That’s negligence.

Isn’t Bush Episcopalian? If you know anything about the Episcopal Church and their form of “Christianity” that should answer your question pretty fast!

Giuliani had more than SSM. He also has issues with being faithful to his spouses that people like me wouldn’t want to be carried into the White House. I don’t want a serial adulterer in the White House, and they certainly won’t get my knowing vote.

Looking back, I don't think that any presidential election has mattered since Reagan left office.

Both Bushes, Dukakis, Clintons, Obama, Romney and Dole would have ALL done pretty much the same thing once in office. They might have called it something different, they might have portrayed it differently, but the end result would have always been the same.

Hell, two years ago we had the architect of the Obamacare prototype running against Obamacare. The ONLY thing Romney would have done is repackaged it and called it Romneycare.

I know Dole is always tossed into these names. I know I voted for him, I don’t know if he was “squishy” on the issues. Despite the Viagra commercials since then, I thought he was a decent guy.

Thanks for the info.

I didn't want anyone to think that I posted a horrible picture of a rhino being tortured or killed. It was to AVOID that situation that the rangers are doing this.

I undestand. Thanks for following up on the issue.

Reminds me to read Mark Trail today. He's become a bit of a tree hugger. I don't know if it was like that when I was a kid. Of course, I love animals and conservation like Ducks Unlimited and such.

In 1995 Dole stated that he opposed a full ban on abortion.

Does Jeb Bush hang out with Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein?
What is Jeb trying to do? He is for all things the democrats are and none that conservatives are for.

45 Time to cut back on those Bushes.

Matthew 7:15-20 (NIV © 2011) 15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

Don’t stay home. Vote conservative, even if it means a third party. (Which I’m pretty sure WILL explode into being if Jeb manages to score the nomination.) If nothing else, show your anger with your votes, because otherwise you’ve just been lumped in with the non-voting morons.

"A combination of beltway consultants and living in the wealthy bubble, and he has absolutely no grasp of the real world."

How true that is, my FReeper FRiend!

There are not many politicians in the USA who have a firm grasp of the real world, and certainly, no LIEberal does!
