Am I missing some context? Does Michelle think someone asking her for help taking something off the shelf is evidence of racism? I have people ask me all the time. I'm tall, and I can reach it. I've also been mistaken for someone that works in a store. I'm OK with that -- my first job was in retail, and maybe I still have "that look".

Or is she claiming that it somehow makes her "ordinary"? If so, I have news for her: "ordinary" people don't live in a tax-funded mansion, and have agents with dark glasses following everywhere.

"Ordinary" people have to worry about paying the rent/mortgage, utility bills, for insurance, for groceries, and for gasoline. When you have to do all those things, you can claim you have an "ordinary" life. But, as long as your husband gets ten's or even hundred's of thousands of dollars for just showing up and saying a few words, you still won't be "ordinary".

I have been asked several times over my life from people in stores to reach for a product for them. Likely because I am 6’1” and was taller than the person asking. I gladly accepted and never thought of evil ulterior motives.

I do believe he smoked a lot of dope in Hawaii, spent years in an islamic school in Indonesia, that only muslim boys are named Hussein, that he is not eligible to be potus for multiple reasons, that he operates under a false social security number and has used multiple numbers, and that he has engaged in many impeachable offenses.

Oh the Horror of being considered something below your lofty station! I of course have suffered too. At the hands of my very spouse, who almost weekly request that I, the very epitome’ of “White Privilege” take out the trash once a week.
