There will be two and only two candidates in the election for Speaker: John Boehner and Nancy Pelosi.
You are correct that 30 Republicans can deny Boehner the chair. It is also true that 30 Republicans + 189 Democrats can elect Pelosi.
If you don’t believe that can happen, you don’t know RINOs like I do.

A revolt of less than 30 representative could force the GOPe to present a more palatable candidate for speaker.

They should elect Sarah Palin to be House Speaker. (the Speaker doesn’t HAVE to be a sitting representative)

If the full house has to vote, the republicans can turn it down, just make sure it is a one item vote. Trun down bonehead and have another republican to vote on the second ballot. Sound good?

Great idea, but would it provide an opening for the Dems to vote in a Speaker, if they vote en masse for, say Pelosi? Boehner needs to be held accountable as he obviously doesn’t care about the American voters who gave the Republicans both Houses this last election. But I sure don’t want Pelosi back!

Dump Bonehead! He will take the House down.

firing Boehner is more important than the midterm electionFor sure. If there aren't at least 30 HOR Republicans who weren't bare-a**ed lying in their campaigns, we might as well just realize the country's not going to survive and prepare for a very bleak future.

In my opinion Boehner and McConnell are exactly the same as Pelosi and Reid, nothing remotely conservative can be accomplished with them in power controlling the agenda.
They've proved it repeatedly, enough is enough!

Well, my District is sending Glenn Grothman to replace Tom Petri. That’ll make 31 conservatives.

Politics made a place for them.
This suggests the politics are rotten. Eliminate the players and before long if nothing else changes, new players will be there to do what the old players did.
I’m not even near as irritated with Boehner as with the lack of enthusiasm for God in the households of this land.
