RUSH: I allowed one interruption from what I said the agenda for this hour was going to be, because you have to hear this. You just have to hear this. This afternoon in Washington on the Senate floor. You've heard, by the way -- I don't remember who said it, but -- it's been said in recent days that if women were running this show, none of this would have happened. There wouldn't have been a shutdown. I think the... (interruption)

RUSH: I am reminded of Jimmy Carter, who said once that he learned everything about nuclear warfare from a question his daughter Amy asked. I think that was while they were on the raft trying to defend themselves against that "killer rabbit." Now, keep in mind Bill Clinton is just quoted today in The Politico as saying conflict is great for politics. Conflict equals passion, conflict equals drama, conflict turns out the base, conflict keeps people revved up.
He was attempting to criticize the Tea Party. What he was actually doing of any giving away Democrat strategery. So I'm gonna get ripped to shreds for "attacking" Kelly Ayotte, and I'm not doing that. You know, Obama's tried this trick, too. His daughters asked him why he didn't fix the BP oil spill. Remember that? "Dad, dad, why don't you just fix it?" Obama: "She said that, and I realized that we gotta roll up our sleeves and we just gotta do it.

These are sort of morons like Ayotte, Cruz is dealing with.

I am so sorry people.
AYOTTE: My children just turned six and nine years old during this whole crisis situation, and my daughter, Kate, asked me, “Mom, why can’t you just get the government open? What’s wrong? Well, why can’t you get this solved?” I mean, such the common-sense questions that I got from her and from our son, Jacob. And think about the lessons we try to teach our children. Aren’t we always trying to teach them that when they get into a conflict, you gotta work it out; that yes, you don’t get to get everything your way? And I had to say to her, “You’re right, Kate, we gotta work together.”
A high, lofted softball, if I ever saw one. But instead of ripping this clown a new one ("Listen, Bozo. I'm not your daddy. I'm running for the office of President of the United States. Grow up and take responsibility for 'your own needs'."), Bush stuttered and equivocated. He went on to lose the election to King Bubba, The Big Creep.
At that very moment, we lost the battle against leftist infantile irresponsibility. It's been downhill ever since.
Then there was the “Diana-fication” of the world - the collective coming together to grieve over a faux celebrity - the near mass-hysteria [media driven] over someone you have no connection too but feel compelled to “care about,” to share in and to be part of a cultural “happening.”
Oh, the HUMANITY!
Boo-hoo!
I care.
I’m good.
What must our children think of this stupidity?
Good analysis of that situation. The American people need to grow a pair and only vote for conservatives, true patriots willing to return the nation to a constitutional republic. A president that enforces the rule of law instead of fleecing the public would be wonderful.
“The American people need to grow a pair and only vote for conservatives, true patriots willing to return the nation to a constitutional republic. A president that enforces the rule of law instead of fleecing the public would be wonderful”....
Which single individual would be that one? The ONLY real conservative I see anymore is Ted Cruz and look what is happening to him.
I’ll have to look up that name.
Didn’t do us any good to win all over the country, now, did it.
Her dim bulb son married the spawn of “Hillbilly”
The Democrats have perfected the art of implicating children in their plans. For decades now the left has indoctrinated our children to the point that they cannot think for themselves and only think about the government.
50 years ago, children wouldn’t utter this nonsense. They’d be too concerned about the status of their toy soldiers and Barbie dolls to care one whit about government. Such is the state of our nation now where it is reasonable to assume that yes, it is possible that children are concerned more about the government teat than their own innocence.
Wow...I think we’ve all had those moments. It helped to bring us here to FR. The point is you are intelligent enough to have assessed the situation propery and adjusted for it.
Somehow I don’t think it’s the first time someone was deceived by a politician... ; )
Cheers!
It’s one thing to listen to Rush on the radio, sitting and waiting for him to finally get to his point. It is an entirely and excruciatingly different thing to sit and wait for the point in print form...
You all can give up, surrender is not my nature.
If you use Google or Bing or Yahoo or any other of the Lib slanted engines, you won't find any reference to what 'blackdog' is talking about. It's all straight biographical info with no mention of her political dealings.
I searched and found nothing unsavory. Perhaps 'blackdog' can clue us in?
Senator Ayotte, I disagree with you. Working with the democrats is ALWAYS giving THEM what they want. They NEVER work with us. When are you going to learn that ONE SIMPLE FACT! WHen you “work with the democrats to get things done” you get sent home. We DON’T want to live under the democrats!
Am sick and tired of the Ladies Aide type of women that are elected to represent us in Washington DC. They turn out to be a bunch of blabber mouths if not closet wine drunks.
