AYOTTE: My children just turned six and nine years old during this whole crisis situation, and my daughter, Kate, asked me, “Mom, why can’t you just get the government open? What’s wrong? Well, why can’t you get this solved?” I mean, such the common-sense questions that I got from her and from our son, Jacob. And think about the lessons we try to teach our children. Aren’t we always trying to teach them that when they get into a conflict, you gotta work it out; that yes, you don’t get to get everything your way? And I had to say to her, “You’re right, Kate, we gotta work together.”
The Democrats have perfected the art of implicating children in their plans. For decades now the left has indoctrinated our children to the point that they cannot think for themselves and only think about the government.
50 years ago, children wouldn’t utter this nonsense. They’d be too concerned about the status of their toy soldiers and Barbie dolls to care one whit about government. Such is the state of our nation now where it is reasonable to assume that yes, it is possible that children are concerned more about the government teat than their own innocence.
Senator Ayotte, I disagree with you. Working with the democrats is ALWAYS giving THEM what they want. They NEVER work with us. When are you going to learn that ONE SIMPLE FACT! WHen you “work with the democrats to get things done” you get sent home. We DON’T want to live under the democrats!
