If property damage makes you a scumbag, then how would we describe someone who, in the 1990s, got into bar fights, throwing a man face first through a store window? (Barkley, who said he was provoked, was fined and sentenced to community service in that incident.)
If black folks need to take more responsibility how would you describe a black man who drives drunk, runs a red light and explains to police that he was rushing home to have sex with the woman in the passenger seat?
If those actions make you a scumbag, or show lack of responsibility, then Barkley should let it be known he's talking about himself. Because he has been charged with crimes over the course of his career but somehow he never ended up shot, or dead, and has spent three days in jail. Charles Barkley's personal failings don't disqualify him from social commentary, but his hypocrisy does.

lol - cnn got their nose bent out of shape when Sir Charles called them out on their coverage of Ferguson. cnn’s ‘opinion’ isn’t worth the teleprompter it’s written on.
There’s a name for those 13 witnesses. They’re called, The Credible Ones.

Barkley is obviously not black enough to be taken seriously by the racists and self loathing whites at CNN or the rest of the Obama Media Group.

Forensic evidence contradicted the "hands up" argument and every single one of these so-called witnesses to the Grand Jury RECANTED their original statements that Brown had his hands up and was surrendering. That, when they were confronted with the evidence and warned that continuing to lie to the grand jury was considered perjury, a legal offense.
Hands up, don't shoot is a FRAUD perpetrated by Mike Brown supporters and they know it.
Key difference being the “black man” referenced took responsibility for his actions. Brown, not so much.

This writer should be embarrassed. Multiple other eye witnesses confirmed Darren Wilson's story, which was proven by very conclusive forensic evidence which proves scientifically what these 16 witnesses said was false and proved what the other multiple other witnesses said was correct.

That sounds like that screachy white UCLA student who told the black National Guardsman that he “didn’t understand racism”. Someone want to rationalize how Mr. Barkley is “unqualified” to opine about race? I think Barkley has been black his entire life.
