Mike Rogers, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said on Sunday that the release of a U.S. Senate report investigating the use of “enhanced interrogation techniques” by the CIA is a “terrible idea” and is likely to cause “violence and deaths” abroad. Rogers told CNN that the report's findings could be used by extremists to incite violence, harming American interests around the world.
“Our foreign partners are telling us this will cause violence and deaths,” Rogers said. “Our own intelligence community has assessed that this will cause violence and deaths. ... We have seen what happens when other incidents are used in the propaganda terrorist machine to incite violence.”
Marie Harf, the spokesperson for the U.S. state department, reportedly said that all American officials and military personnel overseas had been directed to review their security situation to ensure their safety “in case the report triggers violence.” Concerns over the timing and accuracy of the report were also echoed by Michael Hayden, the former director of the CIA.
“First of all, the CIA workforce will feel as if it has been tried and convicted in absentia since the Senate Democrats and their staff didn't talk to anyone actively involved in the program. Second, this will be used by our enemies to motivate people to attack Americans and American facilities overseas,” Hayden told CBS on Sunday.
He also disputed earlier statements by Dianne Feinstein, head of the Senate Intelligence Committee, in which she reportedly accused the CIA of willfully understating the harshness of the interrogation and confinement practices employed by it.
“To say that we relentlessly over an expanded period of time lied to everyone about a program that wasn't doing any good, that beggars the imagination,” Hayden reportedly said.

Frankly, I could give a rat’s patootie about what kind and how bad of torture Muslim terrorists receive. I can, however, understand keeping exact descriptions of that kind of torture from being made public.
What the US has done or might do pales in comparison to what some Neanderthal Muslim might do to a US infidel.

Why would they release it? What is the justification?
It should be enough that there is Senatorial oversight, and that “mistakes were made.” Those recommendations can be incorporated into future guidelines for conduct.
The name Marie Harf and intelligence should never be in the same sentence.
Then there is Mike Rogers, Mr. White Wash the Benghazi Report so I can land a plush job working for the CIA/Arms dealers who smuggled weapons to Syria thru Libya...
Releasing it will harm U.S. interests and allies, so it is almost a sure thing that the Obama Administration will do so.
Panties on their heads torture, heavy metal rock music or that eeevil waterboarding, which is done to our special forces troops and in SERE school training?
Sharp instruments, dull knives, fist-sized stones, burning alive, crucifixion, how many of these Muslim favorites have we employed? (crickets)

d) Serves Islam

Or some combination of the above.
Releasing this, releasing terrorists, just among the various ways the democrat party is trashing the country and the Constitution to get even with the American people for voting their sorry asses out of power in the House and Senate. Party of slavery, secession, KKK, Jim Crow, Separate but Equal, Poll Taxes, fire hoses, voted against civil rights, stood in front of school doors to bar blacks and every other thing they can do to take absolute power. Outlaw the democrat party, shoot the remaining terrorists at Gitmo and replace them with the democrat leadership, pass a tax payable only by currently registered democrats to pay for the mess they’ve made, tell the black assholes who don’t consider themselves American that there is no reparation, just repatriation. Chuck out all illegals including their anchors who result from an illegal interpretation of an amendment written for freed slaves and generally run the rest of the democrat traitors all out and revoke their citizenship.

Wouldn’t releasing the report be playing right into this administration’s hands. After all chaos and anti American anger is what they relish in.

Bottom line is no government agency is above the law. If you say it's okay for the CIA to break the law, then you are basically saying it's okay for the government to break the law.

Then the same people wonder why their is so much corruption in our government that has on average a 7% approval. While we the tax payers are held to a higher standard than the government.
Meanwhile, the feds can ignore our Illegal Immigrant laws, the President can ignore the U.S. Constitution he we swore to up up hold and act like a dictator. The IRS gets sicked on people illegally that disagree with the admin, guns are illegally shipped to Mexico to blame the second Amendment and gun owners, the NSA illegally spies on all U.S. citizens.
I can see why the CIA thinks it's okay to break the law. Because everyone else in our government. The only people following the law right now is the middle class and the tax payers.
OH and then people wonder why the police brutality and corruption is now an issue. A fish rots from the head down.
