America reached an important milestone in 2011. That occurred when, for the first time in the history of the country, more minority babies than white babies were born in a year.

Soon, most children will be racial minorities: Hispanics, blacks, Asians, and other nonwhite races. And, in about three decades, whites will constitute a minority of all Americans ...

This milestone signals the beginning of a transformation from the mostly white baby boom culture that dominated the nation during the last half of the twentieth century to the more globalized, multiracial country that the United States is becoming ...

In and of itself, it is neither a good thing or a bad thing that there shall be, at some time in the foreseeable and predictable future, more residents of the territory once known as “the United States of America”shall NOT be “white” or of European descent, than the number who shall be of “other racial origins”.

Having a pigmented skin in no way dictates political proclivities, just as having an impeccable Northern European pedigree does not assure the exact same thing.

There may be some question, however, whether the majority of residents of that territory once known as “the United States of America” even believe in the concepts upon which that formerly leading nation in the world was founded.

Americans are a culture, not a race.

If you define white strictly by lightness of hue and refer to the range of the European immigrants of the last 3 centuries then thter are many white Asians. Most Vietnamese and half the Thai would qualify. Many North Indians also, and Southern Chinese. Koreans and Filipinos, too, and many Afghans and Uighurs.

What passes for evidence, science, and reporting to the Left:
“In my experiences speaking publicly and answering press inquiries, I have seen the intensity of Americans’ questions and thoughts about issues surrounding race.”

There is NOTHING inherently good or bad, virtuous or evil, about “diversity”.

If they fall back on the “need population” argument:
* ask them about which races were horribly and disproportionaly aborted over the last 40 years
* ask them about their argument’s premise that population is good - where is their environmentalist view?
