I still think Lott’s resignation from the Senate was part of a deal made with the U S Attorney and the Justice Dept. to avoid prosecution in the Dickie Scruggs case. Dickie Scruggs and Trent Lott are brothers-in-law and I suspect co conspirators. But Lott being a favored Republican Senator was spared by the Bush Just-us Dept. Just a matter of knowing the right people.
That’s what we need, more troublemakers, please, more troublemakers.

Yeah, he was a solid conservative. Then the 2000 election he became a RINO and introduced that ridiculous power-sharing agreement with the RATS. I don't know what came over him, but he's nothing more than an establishment hack now.

What an ass Trent Lott has proven himself to be. Traitors in the ranks are far more dangerous than overt enemies, and are no more deserving of our votes. The dirty secret is the Big Government Republicans are naturally allied with Big Government Democrats, which explains their visceral hatred for Small Government Republicans. But their treachery is not much of a secret anymore.
The GOP establishment is corrupt to its core. They have no interest nor intention of repealing Obamacare, challenging Obama’s unilateral action on immigration, or enacting any substantive reductions in federal spending. They are interested only in keeping their jobs, preserving the status quo, and nominating some establishment reprobate like Jeb Bush or Mitt Romney to take on Hillary.
McConnell, Boehner, and the rest of the ruling class are traitors and criminals. I look forward to seeing every one of them strung from a lamppost.
Trent Lott is scum. I really have no idea what people like him stand for. I frankly have more respect for many of my enemies (socialists and muslims) that I do for people like Lott.
Let’s not forget that Lott was a Dem for most of his political life.
