A man who suffocated his 14-year-old Brooklyn girlfriend because he thought she was pregnant — then burned her corpse and stuffed it in a suitcase — asked if he could do only community service for the crime, court papers reveal.
After confessing to killing Shaniesha Forbes in January 2013, Christian Ferdinand, 22, asked cops, “Do you think I can get some kind of community service?” according to documents obtained by The Post.

Don’t cheer on prison rape.
Victims are usually weaker, non-violent, isolated, and white. Most of the criminals FReepers wants raped aren’t going to be the ones who get raped.
Prison rape fosters prison gangs, as victims seek allies or at least a limit to the number of rapists.
Prison rape spreads AIDS - to the world outside prison, when the rapists and victims are released.
Why should Bubba and Hernando get to have any sexual or sadistic pleasures in prison?

No matter how true that is, I think it’s unreasonable to expect a 14-year-old girl in this social milieu to act in any kind of calculated way.
“Trap him”? That’s white thinking. In this culture, people don’t get married, don’t pay child support. Mothers and children are all wards of the state.
There is a code in prison. They don't like people who do bad things to children.
In fact, they reserve special treatment for child killers.
Especially, if someone brags about their exploit.
The girl was 14 and still considered a child.

Make the death penalty what it was meant to be, a violent, painful deterrent again. Make it happen quickly, a rapid appeals process and in the case of there being no doubt like this monster, immediately at the conclusion of trial, then we might see some change.
As technology has progressed and corruption increases, the two have collided head on.
Be careful WHAT kind of entity you wish to hand that power to.

Nope, never been to prison, but I did get arrested once for blocking the front of an abortion clinic.
I think turning people into eunichs is a better form of punishment than hanging. Hanging is over too quick
‘Trap him’ is all young girls who are messing around thinking. I’m sure she thought he CARED about her because he was sleeping with her. And I’m sure it never occurred to her he might kill her. But,in her mind, even if he didn’t care about a baby, she would have someone who loved her. Maybe she was a bit late and assumed. That’s why 14 year olds shouldn’t be messing round. But White AND Black Libs tell us most 14 year olds are sexually active and that’s why Common Core is teaching all kinds of sexual education to kids as young as 5. The degradation of our youth. Telling them sex is just sex and they can/should indulge no matter how young. To lots of people sex IS just sex. But young girls still romanticize that a guy cares if he wants sex. Just sad what control of this country in the hands of Leftists has done to our young.

Her mom didn’t know how old he was. She only knew she was dating someone, but had never met him. I’m sure she regrets not insisting on meeting him. He was 20 at the time of the murder.

Judge Parker had the right idea. Regular and predictable use of that contraption transformed Ft. Smith from a violent crime ridden frontier town into a nice little town of church goers in a mere 15 years.
