I,m not promoting a gladiator type spectacle of death on display for the unwashed masses. We need to return the death penalty back to the type of deterrent and removal of subhumans it was meant to be, and you don't do that by giving the animals decades of free room, board and facilities and maybe ending by going to a final sleep. Return to the days of yesteryear where the penalty was death by firing squad, hanging, the electric chair or gas chamber, these are deaths that invoke fear and despair in the hearts of all but the worst psychopaths who care not a wit anyway. As for technology advancing that's part of the problem with liberals wanting to make a murders death easy, and corruption, phah! look at what the liberals have already done!
