Traffic on New York City bridges was reportedly shut down as demonstrators marched in traffic lanes over the Brooklyn, Manhattan and Triboro bridges as peaceful protests occurred in 90 cities across the U.S.
Thousands of people rallied late on Monday in cities including Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., to passionately but peacefully protest a grand jury's decision not to indict a white police officer who killed a black 18-year-old in Ferguson, Missouri.
They led marches, waved signs and shouted chants of 'Hands Up! Don't Shoot,' the slogan that has become a rallying cry in protests over police killings across the country....

The headline itself is an oxymoron. Shut down freeways and “peace” are mutually exclusive states. Interferring with commerce and the freedom to go about one’s business isn’t peace by a longshot.

I'd like to see a huge crowd of Right to Life people do this and see how the media and NYC Police would react to that.
In fact, it should be done, Conservatives have been too damn timid. It's time for the Right to Life folks and the Tea Party folks to fight fire with fire and stage the same sort of demonstrations.

I don’t believe the media should be allowed to report on stories (aside from very simple statements) before they have the facts. There’s too much initial wrong information and speculation and then the narrative gets set and there’s no reasoning with certain people even when the initial reports are disproved or new discovery becomes known.
Interesting study in how manipulation by the MSM can control a mob of low intelligence people. The secret behind the success of the Democrat party.

Not sure what was in post 8 (now deleted), but in Seattle some of the protestors got up onto I-5 for maybe 10 minutes before they could get chased off again.
Listening on the scanner, the cops are just sort of guiding the marches away from the freeway and main downtown area. Some limited breaking windows and a few things thrown at the cops.
It has pretty much died down now. But they were telling the cops to make sure they get their riot gear off, wiped down and ready for tomorrow.
So, so many of the pictures contain young girls/women, both black and white, interspersed with young men, a lot of them white and some blacks. The one thing I noticed on all the photos in the collage was the signage. Many professionally done and some radical organization logo/tag. Talk about planned
One or two university type club/orgs. The lie-in at Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills was pretty much a summation to me. Non-working dilettantes, students spattered with some authentic entitlement leeches and a smattering of old do-gooder white people who are probably comfortably well off and have the time to agitate.
When you pander the to whims of nonproductive citizens, you become their slaves. The more you do and give, the more they are unsatisfied, and the more they want. It doesn’t end. It is just sad to see a good part of America devolve into idiocy over the likes of Michael Brown.
