Not sure what was in post 8 (now deleted), but in Seattle some of the protestors got up onto I-5 for maybe 10 minutes before they could get chased off again.
Listening on the scanner, the cops are just sort of guiding the marches away from the freeway and main downtown area. Some limited breaking windows and a few things thrown at the cops.
It has pretty much died down now. But they were telling the cops to make sure they get their riot gear off, wiped down and ready for tomorrow.
