The son of an aide to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's uncle has gone missing in Paris, sparking speculation that secret agents tried to kidnap him to spirit him back to the Communist nation.
Referred to only by his surname Han, the architecture student went missing two weeks ago, raising concerns for his safety.
According to Yonhap, the South Korean news agency that broke the story, Mr Han is a son of a close confidant of Jang Song-thaek, Kim Jong-un's once powerful uncle and regime number two, who was executed in December last year on treason charges.

Indeed we do. I commented earlier on another thread that I was chilled that these may be someday fondly remembered as the youngest generation’s ‘good old days’.

Kim Han-sol, a student at the Le Havre Campus of France’s Sciences Po University, refused to speak when the reporter approached him as he was returning to his dormitory after class.
The reporter repeatedly asked, “How is school life?” and, “Have you met your father recently?”
According to the agency, Kim’s classmates told the media he got along well with his friends and had spent a good school year. Special guards had supervised Kim shortly after Jang Song-thaek, Kim Jong-un’s uncle and a close relative of Kim Han-sol, had fallen from grace and been executed.
