In brief, Obama won . . . again. Election results nullified. Sorry you bothered voting, fools.

What every hand wringer (sometimes I am one) misses is this: eventually all chickens come home to roost.

Legal immigrants AS WELL AS natural born citizens are not happy with this move....

In the end, this bodes ill for the Demon Rats.

Brilliant? No.

Just arrogant, illegal, undemocratic, immoral. All of Obama's specialties.

Nothing has changed. They don’t have the manpower to process 5 million work permits. It’s highly doubtful that the average illegal can document 5 yrs residency. Most employers of illegals are not going to want to start paying matching SS, Med. and Unemp. taxes.
Simple Solution is to fine employers of illegals $10,000 per person and watch how fast they self-deport.

Glenn Beck yesterday described this as the equivalent of Julius Caesar crossing the Rubicon. What he did not mention is how that ended. Do the enemies of tyranny have any politically feasible response short of the one presented by Brutus and Cassius? I dearly hope so, for the sake of the nation.

“Sorry you bothered voting, fools.”

Amen brother. If this stands and it will, we are no longer a nation of laws. WE are a nation of men.

As I listen to the sound & fury coming out of Washington from the Ruling Class, I realize it is all show. Kubuki Theater.

What I think they may be missing is the muffled sound & fury from Flyover Country. When the ballot box fails, only the bullet box is left. Ferguson, Missouri could be the flash point that sets off something, they never dreamed could happen again.

The practical reality of this is Obama gave the finger to everyone who voted against his policies and the representatives we elected to oppose him. Afterall, we are too stupid to understand the brilliance of his policies.

The effect of his edicts on the targeted illegals will be minimal I believe. The people his decree effected were not being deported and were under no fear of deportation. They have drivers licenses, use other peoples SS#’s and don’t make enough to pay taxes. They get free medical care, education, etc. What motivation do they have to pursue a temporary green card?

The worst effect I fear will be an even bigger flood of immigrants crossing our borders.

Still, what are the Republicans going to do? Impeach him?

Yes, that's what they should do and try to explain why amidst all the LSM noise. Raise the level of the debate to the national level. Let Democrats defend this.

It’s all about crises. This administration has gone from one crisis to another.

This White House has taken advantage of the American attention span. No matter how much we may despise this President and his minions of evil, they do a brilliant job of creating one crisis after another. They don’t allow any time for the Republicans to gain traction, and they have the media as willing accomplices to either ignore or promote their dastardly deeds.

Obama relies on his “coolness” factor to still keep the progressive base and total morons on his side. In the meantime, the Republicans are always beat to the punch, or have no punch due to feckless leadership who continues to want to “go along to get along”.

So, by the time the next election rolls around, this immigration issue is off the table. We, the American people, have lost, and the progressives just get more and more.

I pray that I am wrong and the true republicans (small “R”) raise their heads and rise up to inspire the (mostly) sleeping masses and make them realize that their freedoms are being removed. It’s not happening slowly, but pretty darn quickly.

After looking around at some other opposition comments, I’ve come to the conclusion that Rush was right again. To his (Obama)twisted base, this really isn’t about immigration to them. It’s about sticking their finger in the eyes of the opposition and pi#43ing them off. Most of the public comments revolve around “hahahha, you lose, Obama got you again”. In the next breath, they are blaming Reagan because they are unemployed.

If they don't stop it, we know FOR SURE that the ptb in the Republican Party will do nothing to save the US. They've been given enough rope to either hang themselves or pull the nation off the slippery slope.

Irony is, it's black US citizens who suffer the most, and their leaders are too busy defending thugs to speak out.

They are just too stupid to realize Obama “Grubered” them on immigration. Didn’t he just do what he said he didn’t have the authority to do? We’ve been Grubered again, folks.

That's a start. Follow up with criminal prosecution. That {expletive} should be wearing prison orange the rest of his life.

There’s a smart-ish strategy that involves funding the rest of the government while denying DHS the funds to enforce His Majesty’s edict. But when POTUS vetoes it, what will they do then?

Interesting how the author referred to bammy as "his majesty" - was that a slam, or adoration? Either way, yes GOP, do you job, DENY FUNDING FOR ANY OF THIS EXCREMENT! I don't care if the government shuts down. Shut it down, leave it shut down, period. Eventually bammy will blink. If not, hey, might be the best couple of years we've had. Do it.

Refusal to deport, rationalized however thinly as prosecutorial discretion, is the absence of action. Issuance of work permits, drivers licenses, etc. requires affirmative action, and that is quite a different issue.

As a legal matter, Obama's fig leaf is that the Administration is just too overburdened to manage deportations, but when it comes to 101 administrative actions to roll out the red carpet to the next generation of democratic voters, the Administration has no difficulty finding the resources. This does not fool anyone.

So the immediate question is: is there, anywhere in these United States, a judge who will issue an emergency injunction blocking a plainly illegal abuse of power? For the umpteenth time, if a Republican president did something like this, the injunction would be issued before cob today.

It is an important detail that both the House and the Senate have complete control over how they do their business.

Importantly, no previous House or Senate can constrain the current one in how it functions.

So if the House wants to, it can change the budgetary process.

Right now, almost all budget bills are “omnibus” bills providing funding for a vast number of evils. But they do not have to be this way.

What the House should do is to start separating the most repulsive of these agencies and activities into their own bills. And only send Obama “must pass” bills that are clean and stripped of anything extraneous.

And then do what Harry Reid did with the funding bills, which is to refuse to consider them, but just for the obnoxious and unconstitutional bills. Once they are separated out, they don’t even get voted on, and no opportunity for Obama to veto them.

With zero funding, they are over and done for. And there is nothing Obama can do about it. He cannot give those agencies a continuing resolution. Without money, they do not function, and their staff does not get paid.
