A dam shame the trounced/rejected Obama is losing it.

Obama's preening, vainglorious bravado in going forward alone was a paean to Jonathan Gruber.... Gruber musta told Obama just make it up as you go along b/c stupid Americans wont understand it, anyway.

SHADES OF OBAMACARE---THIS MADE ME LAUGH OUT LOUD Obama bloviates about "tough border controls"..... the moral equivalent of "if you like your plan, you can keep it."

This is entirely political, based on his calculation of how to inflict the most harm on the Republican Party. Neither Obama nor the Democrats generally care about the illegal aliens as people. If they did they would have addressed the problem in 2009-2010. They didn't because they wanted to keep it alive as an issue to use against the Republicans and (they hope) to get a larger share of the Hispanic vote.

The unconstitutionality of Obama's action is a plus from his standpoint because it shows up the impotence of the opposition. Just like Putin grabbing Crimea in defiance of world opinion.

Obama's tactics may drive more white Americans into the Republican Party, but that will be compensated for by additional votes by illegal aliens.
