Glenn Beck yesterday described this as the equivalent of Julius Caesar crossing the Rubicon. What he did not mention is how that ended. Do the enemies of tyranny have any politically feasible response short of the one presented by Brutus and Cassius? I dearly hope so, for the sake of the nation.

The ‘rubicon’ isn’t just that he invalidated Congressional authority with this move. One could say he’d done that now for the past 4 of 6 years.

What this ‘stunt,’ and it is a ‘stunt,’ did was invalidate the ballot box.
