Three people were wounded in a shooting on Florida State University's campus in Tallahassee, police said, with the suspected gunman shot and killed by officers.
The shooting happened early this morning at the university's Stozier Library.
A police officer fatally wounded the suspected gunman after he fired at police, Tallahassee Police Department public information officer David Northway said at an early morning press conference.
Two of the victims were taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, with one listed in critical condition, the other in stable condition. The third victim's condition is unknown.

Seriously, the New York Times will no doubt try to use this to indict the FSU football program.
I heard that the 3 wounded were hit by errant POLICE gunfire. Now, what is the race of the shooter? I assume because they did not disclose it, that he must be a minority?
It ended about as well as one can hope for. Psycho criminal dead, no other fatalities.
....and like a clock, the Ministry of Propaganda finds a small shooting and drums it up to be the latest Sandy Hook, when they need a distraction from the Lawless Emperor Obama edicts.
If he is in custody, then they have custody of a dead body according to the headline he is d-e-a-d, dead.
Most evidence would say that he had never once visited the library and if records are closely checked, his finger prints cannot be found in any of the class rooms. Him and ole Jimbo are hunkered down in the bunker, trying to keep him eligible for the next game.
....Or maybe indict the FSU football program for dropping from #1 in the rankings.
My dear wife...bless her heart...who has no sense whatsoever of what the game of football entails or who is involved in it and finds it to be a dreadful bore...does know enough to look at me and ask, with all seriousness:
"Do you think that might be the guy that raped that girl and stole the lobsters?"
It was the highlight of my morning and resulted in the best breakfast conversation we have had in a while.

Amazing how the msm’s internet outlets quickly removed/blocked the photos of Myron May, lawyer, alumni and as a possible son of Holder/Obozo/Sharpton/J Jackson.
I had a couple of his photos and after saving the data to post them on FR, they and the links disappeared before I could post them.
They will make excuses for him..blame racism for what he did..go back into his childhood and find someone who called him the N word
