I don't think he's smart at all. He seems to be the sort of school yard bully who turns things to his personal advantage, then moves on. I'm not sure he cares about the mess he leaves behind.
They certainly have taken their time announcing the results of the grand jury probe. Looks to me like they are delaying it so they can get every last civil rights activist and anarchist they can in town before the announcement. Many folks will die and lose property BECAUSE they delayed the announcement.
This thing has been a pathetic malcontent zoo since day one.

I checked the list. It’s interesting that only two places are listed in Missouri (Ferguson and Kansas City). I don’t think there is much of a “movement” backing this. Yes, I know there are a number of rabble rousing leftists involved, but I don’t think they have that much support.
Emitt Till's father raped and murdered Italian women, and was executed by the US Army for that. It is part of the histiorical record.

Put out a list of many more targets than the anticipated number of protesters can effectively hit. Which disperses the protesters into multiple small groups, robbing them of any sort of critical mass.
