During the heyday of the ObamaCare push, Jonathan Gruber was whiz-kid-in-chief. His number-crunching on the benefits of the plan was frequently cited by Democrats trying to sell the proposal to the public.
Now, Washington Democrats have a new message: He’s not with us.
After a string of videos have emerged showing Gruber gloating about how the law’s authors exploited Americans’ “stupidity,” the White House has distanced itself. House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi even claimed: “I don’t know who he is. He didn’t help write our bill.”

Well, I would like to thank the good professor for helping me finally understand one of the great mysteries of life - what is the import of the strange barbell distribution of the membership in the Democrat party - at one extreme a gob of the thoughtless, the ill-informed, the hapless, the incompetent, the hangers-on, and the just plain ignorant, and at the other the supposed best and the brightest of society - the intelligentsia, the academics, the literati. Gruber’s comment about how stupid the voters are and how they must be duped for their own good says it all - they simply need each other and flock together for their own common good - the dunces and parasites require someone to at least pretend to take care of them and provide what they believe they are incapable of providing themselves, and the self-absorbed brains need someone dumb enough to buy the kind of hot air they peddle and to pay suitable homage to them - it’s your basic mundane symbiotic relationship masquerading as a political party - thanks prof....

Well, much like the Obamacare bill, she didn’t read it or his comments, for the sole purpose of plausible deniability.
Pinnancychio should have rephrased, ‘we have to pass the bill to find out who wrote it’. She damned well knew who Gruber was and is. There must be some internet sleuth out there who can track down document or photo of Peelousey and this uber Gruber liar together.
