On June 13, 2012, Obamacare Jonathan Gruber was interviewed by Frontline. He told them that the Cadillac tax issue was addressed in 2009. Obama knew it was going to be a problem, and they all agreed to lie about it.

What Jonathan Gruber is taking heat for right now, was planned out specifically with Barack Obama. It wasn’t just him. It was all of them, with Obama in the room taking part.

Caveat emptor: In early January Politico revealed that Gruber received $297,600 the previous June from the health and human services department to assess various health reform proposals. (Click here for the documentation.) This brought mild embarrassment to journalists Jon Cohn of the New Republic and Ronald Brownstein of the Atlantic, both of whom have relied on Gruber heavily yet were unaware of his financial ties to the Obama administration. (Add me to the list of those who were somewhat less embarrassed because we’d relied on Gruber somewhat less; henceforth I will try to flag Gruber’s financial ties whenever I quote him.) Gruber’s priorities have long been in pretty obvious alignment with the Obama administration’s, but for what it’s worth my sense is that the influence runs from Gruber to the White House rather than the other way around. In at least one instance (his misplaced enthusiasm for the excise tax on “ Cadillac “ health plans) that influence has contributed to bad policy. Overall, it’s fair to say that Gruber is a cheerleader for health reform, and that his economic reasoning is likely influenced by his political preferences. That said, Gruber remains respected by his academic peers as a leading expert on the economics of health care.

According to MRC and Bernie Goldberg, the MSM (NBC, CBS, and ABC) as of yesterday hadn’t mentioned a thing. CNN - one story, length unknown. MSNBC - not counted as an actual TV network/show/outhouse.

Wash. Post finally ran something yesterday or today. Hurray for Ben Bradlee’s House of Lies and Omissions. Glad that nasty old lefty bastard croaked a couple weeks ago. He made sure that the Wash. Post stayed far left and covered up for the Democrats and the Reds whenever they could.

We used to call the WP “Pravda East” along with the NYT’s as “Tass East”. They earned those titled, believe me.

We do have this gem: Obama is, without a doubt, at the center of the Obamacare deception which he calculatedly perpetrated on Americans in lockstep w/ Democrat party loyalists.

Obama specifically ordered Jonathan Gruber---and other “healthcare experts” in on the hoax---to find ways to game the CBO numbers so that they could pass the bill without Americans being the wiser.

After all, they had the preening Gruber who knew the "dirty little secret" of Romneycare---that Massachusetts ripped off the federal govt (read taxpayers) to finance it.
