Boehner: Time For Gop-led Congress To Deal With Immigration
Breitbart ^ | 11/6/14 | Tony Lee

Posted on 11/06/2014 4:07:39 PM PST by jimbo123

On Thursday, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) said it is time for a Republican-led Congress to move an immigration bill forward, so long as President Obama doesn't "burn himself" by enacting executive amnesty before the end of the year.

-snip-

Referring to immigration, Boehner also said that "it is time for the Congress of the United States to deal with a very difficult issue in our society." He noted that immigration has become a "political football" over the last ten years and said it is his personal belief that "it's just time to deal with this."

NO AMNESTY, thirty years ago we revamped immigration laws and gave amnesty to several million people, we were told this along with protecting our borders would take care of our legal and illegal immigration problems. The laws were ignored by democrats and republicans, our borders were NOT protected by either party. There’s NOTHING to talk about until we get our THIRTY YEARS of ENFORCED LAWS that are on the books AND THIRTY YEARS of protected borders. I know it’s difficult to separate familys, send people back BUT THIS PROBLEM WAS CAUSED BY OUR POLITICAL CLASS, do the right thing for America and right the wrong. You who chose to be the elected political class.

Obviously it’s time once again to man the phones, send the faxes, emails, carrier pigeons, whatever it takes to get the message to OUR representatives, the people in D.C. that work for US, NOT their cronies at Chamber of Commerce, and let ‘em know Amnesty is bad boo boo. We won’t tolerate them right out of the gate screwing we the people over for their buddies, and their bank accounts.

That government up there they are participating in is at the will of we the people. Ya know....the ones that sent ‘em there!?

They’re doing this to make you believe that you are not in a majority, actually. This way they can fool you into thinking that you HAVE to be inclusive, diverse and part of all humankind - you are not allowed to be selfish and think about your wife, mother, father, sister, brother or children and what happens to them.

Then when they take a bunch of pocket money from some chicken processing plant, crop processor, meat plant, carpet mill and sell you down the river so they can have cheap labor, you’ll be admonished that “it was for the latino citizens we want in our party.”

All the while, they collect their tick marks to their pensions, those stuffed overseas accounts and the multiple homes, and when they retire, you’ll never see them again because they sure as hell won’t be coming back to the state in which you live. They’re better than that.

Because Bonehead wants ALL the credit when the permanent dismantling of the Republic occurs!

They got voted in again. They don't care what you or I think.

They will ignore us just like Cornyn quit answering his phone when people tried to hold his feet to the fire. And then he voted to support the liberal agenda with his cloture vote on removing the debt limit.

Yes, it is time to deal with this. Close/secure the borders and then take the time necessary to deal with the illegal immigrants already here, in a way that is fair to those who waited in line and followed the rules.

Congress has ZERO credibility in passing amnesty with the PROMISE of closing the border. Somehow that part does not happen. If a law is passed, it is somehow defunded. CLOSE the borders and take the time necessary AFTER the borders are secure to deal with those here.

Return convicted criminals to their country of origin, especially the rapists and murderers. Getting them out of our jails will reduce our costs by 50% or more.

How about illegal and legal immigrants must register as “guest workers” or be deported. The guest worker program would include:
1. Flat tax on income applied to all the guest workers and tied to the real cost of illegal immigrants/guest workers on our government, infrastructure, legal system, law enforcement, and health care system.
2. No voting rights.
3. crippling fines to any business that employs illegal immigrants
4. Federal ID for guest workers.
5. a rational path to citizenship for guest workers (after so many years being a guest worker, English language comprehension, citizen tests, annual quotas, etc.).
6. Guest workers must agree to abide by our laws and will submit to our justice system.

Flame on (this is just an attempt to start a discussion)

The war on Americans not in the Ruling Class has resumed. That didn’t take long.

Time for the GOP led House to get rid of this clown and vote for a new speaker.

Exactly. This is all about the Ruling Class flooding the country with people who will vote for Big Corrupt Government. Saying that this is about the Hispanic vote is a lie.

God forbid he would just call for enforcing the 4000 current immigration laws. I predict if the GOP passes this amnesty 6 million republicans will sit home in 2016. I hate to say I will be so furious I may sit home.

Well, he happens to be right. The law wasn’t working before Obama, and with 6 years of Obama’s “executive actions” and non-enforcement, it really, truly is not working now. The GOP finally has a chance to do something about it, and while I think Obama is going to go ahead and do his own thing, the GOP should at least offer a model of a policy.

We need to have an immigration policy that helps America, not every Third World Muslim hell-hole that the President adores.

I am not a registered Republican. They lost me when Bush said.....see you at the bill signing. I also did not vote for Kevin McCarthy the last couple of times. Every single time I complain to him about amnesty I get back some wispy washy response.

Yeah, like build a fence and close the DANG BORDER! Then you address any other issues. Until we have security we cannot do anything!
It’s not hard to figure out.
