The party of Abe Lincoln reborn?
Its a good result. Disappointing in Kentucky and Iowa, but no matter.
What I am concerned about right now are the House races where they are counting provisional ballots.
It appears Democraps are trying to steal the race in Arizona where Martha McSally won on election day, and overturn John Tacchera’s win in California over Jim Costa. This would mean we only get a total of 248 seats. :(
Time for the state legislatures to do some constitutional duty/judo and neuter the fedgov.
how many will act on vote fraud?
No wonder Obama prefers to govern the populace who do not vote !
Even in a blue state like Minnesota where the Dems swept all of the constitutional offices and re-elected Al Franken to the Senate, the GOP managed to gain control of the state House of Represntatives!
For the next two years, we have at least a brake on Gov Dayton’s and the Dem-controlled state senate’s wild spending.
MOST representative government, in this country, SHOULD BE in the states, not Washington D.C., and until the Wilsonian “progressive era” it was.
And, while the current new numbers are impressive, the general numbers - state legislative houses and state governors - before the election were more than good enough to factually counter the lie of the GOP as a minority party.
Even Obama’s election did not diminish the “grass roots” back home base being built by the GOP in the states.
While the Dims have been dragging, more and more, all their political desires to Washington D.C. and ONLY in Washington D.C. claiming very many victories, the GOP has been doing the hard problem solving work where it needs to get done, in the states, and winning states and claiming economic progress in their states, in contrast to most of the Dim’s enclaves.
Reaganism is still alive at the state level. If the GOPe hadn’t purged it out at the federal level, they’d be dominating there, too.
Even though CT elected Dannell Mallory again, the R pick up 10 seats in the state house. It hasn’t had as many Rs since 1995.
Here in Alabama, the top 11 positions are held by republicans. The State Senate and Legislature both have SUPER MAJORITY for Republicans. Both US Senators are republicans. I think the dims only have one or two of the House positions. Conservatives, guns, and JESUS CHRIST rule here.
For decades to come Republicans will have a deep bench to draw quality candidates from. Think of this as a political farm system, not to mention the many executives in the now in governors offices from which to draw presidential candidates.
On the other hand, Democrats will be forced to rely on the few billionaires and the declining number of people who can claim a famous political name. Democrats lost a lot of political capital in these last few elections... and I'm all tore up about it.
if you turn in computer circuits in my area not only do you have to give your car license, and they do check it, you have to hand over your id and sign a form....FOR OLD COMPUTER CIRCUITS....
So much for the media punks acting as though Republicans and conservatives are illegitimate and should be marginalized for good. That we have no right to put out our opinions and philosophies
So much for the media denying Republicans and conservatives equal time to put our message.
So much for Obama and Democrats having the media in their back pockets
So much for the young punks calling us old and in the way. And young punks acting as though they are entitled to take over now.
Pale, male and stale is their new putdown
I hope this excites a conservative movement that will seriously damage commie Democrats and their attempts to destroy this country.
