Moisture is the essence of wetness, and wetness is the essence of beauty. ---Derek Zoolander

Cosmopolitan magazine will be sending a party bus filled with shirtless male models to the University of North Carolina to shuttle coeds to the election polls next week. If this sounds like a skit from the upcoming Zoolander 2 movie you could be right. However, it is all too real. Of course, as we shall see, the real purpose of this stunt by Cosmopolitan is to help Democrats. First let us look at the report from CBS Charlotte which very conveniently neglects to mention the real reason for this Cosmopolitan silliness:

Is the university allowing them on campus to do this? If so, the university could be engaging in a Title IX violation.

If Cosmo does not invite men as well, it could be committing a civil rights violation.

from the artice...”the shirtless male models on the bus “may tend to excite more females than males,”

Well I’m going to have to disagree with that.

Have things changed so much since I was college age that young women are now turned on by looking at half dressed obvious queers? LOL

Perhaps the MOST IMPORTANT election in America’s history is coming on November 4th! Like many of you, I’m not thrilled with the GOP choices before us. But until we somehow overcome the ignorance and apathy of so many millions around us who DO NOT THINK, it’s what we have.  All those of us who DO THINK and REMEMBER the America we have allowed to slip into the abyss of tyranny had better SHOW UP and VOTE.  It’s a numbers game and the donkey party will be up to their usual vote fraud/ballot box stuffing antics.  If we’re to even start to turn this mess around, we’d better BE THERE IN RECORD NUMBERS on November 4th!!!

One presumes that some of these voters will be residents of other states, since there are regular voter registration drives on college campuses. Here is a link to the current undergraduate tuition and fees per semester at NCState. As you can see, there is a considerable penalty cost for those who are not residents. There should be an immediate effort on the part of Republican party organizations nationwide to assist each of these students to re-register at their colleges to obtain the resident rate.

It seems that if the state government is registering the out-of-state students to vote locally, they are certifying that these students are actually residents and eligible for lowered fees. The benefit, of course is that Republicans will be seen as helping to lower the high costs of college educations, along with sticking it to leftist administrators by wreaking havoc on their budgets.

The phrase I used is a reference to this song-

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1N29vkIT3eo

Stupid Girl by Garbage.

What bugs me though is that girls, and women, seem difficult to engage on any subject unless it can somehow be entwined with sex and/ or the acquisition of a mate.

Simply looking at the cover of any given Cosmopolitan magazine, or any other women’s or girl’s magazine indicates this.

Even the singular way the democrat party engages females is via their reproductive organs, and nothing else.

And it works, which is troubling.

Yes it is very troubling. The father-less girls and boys don't always have a dad-role model to show them what a good husband and man is. Girls and boys grow up seeing dad when mother allows and HOPE they don't get into a screaming brawl.

Divorce hurts children ALL their lives, I think. Some of them repeat the role model. Couples are selfish, self-centered and it seems to be about memememe.

Premarital sex is the lure, the prize and the death-knell to a marriage-able future. The old phrase: "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free" comes to mind.

Girls are stupid because they SO OFTEN don't have a full-time dad to SHOW them how life works OR a full-time mom to mentor them. They are, so often, left to sitters.

Boys fare NO better.

I have no solution that doesn't evolve self sacrifice, a morality check and a core FAITH in which to ground their ethics.

Excellent post! I really could not agree more if I tried.

Looking at my own life and those of some other people I have known, a male and female role model is absolutely critical to health development of children.

To be without either is such a disadvantage, and it has become so much more common the farther that we move away from God as a country.

I do not believe that there is any solution outside of what you outlined.
