Oh, the cockles of many establishment Republican hearts were warmed this week by CNBCs report that ex-Florida Gov. Jeb Bush looks very much like hes running for president. One could almost hear the purring of those anticipating their next Plum Book job.
But stories about Jeb Bush give my insides a very different feeling: One of sinking. One of disappointment.
Its not that I think this Bush would make a bad president; I actually think hed make a very good one.
Its just that, come on, this is America. And when one family or a handful of families appears over and over at the top of the government, things start looking and feeling a lot more like an aristocracy than a representative republic.

I voted twice for Jeb as my govenor and he did a fair job but like his brother Jeb is NOT a conservative.
I will NOT again pull the lever for a RINO for President.
No more McLame, Mitt, Jeb, Huckabee etc.

Wise move on blanking Cornyn. I voted for the LC candidate and was stalked mercilessly last night by a poster who basically said I had crossed over to the dark side. It got downright irritating after the 3rd post.

I think Jeb would be a disaster. He’s a big government moderate that also support amnesty and is fine with Government Healthcare.

I will be voting for whoever has the best chance of beating “the Bush” even if it is a Marxist Rat. Another Bush must not be allow to grow in Texas. I will vote 3rd party in the Senate race. I have no doubt that if nominated Jeb Bush will ultimately give an articulate and sincere concession speech to Hillary Clinton.
