I would certainly shed no tears if people couldn’t vote for the government to be their daddy or husband.

“She’s bright and nice to look at, even if she once married to a major Dem politician.”

That shows that she’s not too bright, or else just has horrible judgement.

Ann Coulter famously said she’d gladly give up her right to vote if it meant that women wouldn’t be allowed to vote for a “husband replacement” in the form of government.

Coulter also stated: "If we took away women's right to vote, we'd never have to worry about another Democrat president. It's kind of a pipe dream, it's a personal fantasy of mine, but I don't think it's going to happen. And it is a good way of making the point that women are voting so stupidly, at least single women."

Only those employed by the private sector should be allowed to vote.

So your employer could effectively take away your vote by firing you before the election? Way too much potential for abuse there.

If America is to survive in any meaningful form, it is essential that we reverse the trend towards an ever expanded suffrage, that has been in play for over a century. The problem is not limited to the Nancy Pelosi airhead variety of female, or the male equivalent. The still greater problem is the failure to address the obvious conflict of interest, in allowing members of either sex that is receiving unearned benefits from any Government, State or Federal, from voting for office holders for that Government.

In addition, the effect of Warren Court decisions, in the last Century, which shattered meaningful residency requirements, & State checks on blatant majority rule, need to be addressed.

The present attitude on getting every live body over eighteen to the polls, regardless of qualification, regardless of conflicts of interest, etc., is absolutely not what the Founding Fathers intended. It, also, absolutely plays into the hands of demagogues, intent on fundamentally dismantling traditional Western cultural imperatives.

Nah, just open a lemonade stand, or mow some lawns.

I am a firm proponent of Robert Heinlein’s school of thought: only VETERANS should be allowed to vote.

We ought to restrict voting to people who work full time. That would take care of a lot of things.

She’s off the mark on that one-but I’d agree with a little current events test-on politics, foreign affairs, etc-not TV shows, celebrities or any of that crap-for all voters-half the people don’t seem able to string together a sentence that makes any sense, much less know anything about current events, and we see what happens when we let them vote...

So then it’s not a restriction at all. Anyone with a pitcher and a jar of kool aid would qualify.

I’d go a step farther, restrict them to two room housing, kitchen/bedroom./sarc

By those standards 90% of Blacks and Hispanics and 100% of Muslims will have to stay at home.

They’re simply voting for what makes sense to them -

“independence” from men, but with the security of being provided for and protected.

Not only that, but those that work for the government have a conflict of interest as well, and should not vote IMHO.

Big problem here in my town... Town meeting is full the the brim with teachers and municipal employees, swamping the non-gov taxpayers.
