Hillary Clinton remains the clear frontrunner for the Democratic nomination in 2016, while Mitt Romney barely leads against a scattered group of Republicans.

Among registered voters, former Secretary of State Clinton leads the potential 2016 Democratic field, with 64 percent of the vote. She has a sizable lead on Vice President Joe Biden (13 percent) and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren (11 percent), according to a new ABC News/Washington Post poll.

I I had to, AGAIN, vote for Romney to keep a committed communist from getting in the White House, I'd do it.

Then I'd buy a bottle of my favorite whiskey and sulk in a corner some where and let's the chips fall.

At least he TALKED more conservative than any other Republican in the last 20 years on the Illegal Presence thing.

Hillary has proven herself to be a very poor crisis manager. She is about where BO is on economics (she’s not flexible like Bill was). Thus, I’d vote for Mitt as I was packing to go to Rong Kat and farm rice.

Mega barf but also mega BS.

I’m gonna go out on a limb. Neither of these 2 pear shaped losers will be their party’s standard bearers. But God help us with whomever is chosen.

For all his vices, Mitt manages to put on a pretty good case for economic reform. That is at least SOMETHING positive.

Will collegiality return to the rest of the GOP? Or will it be a pot shot fest born of terminal vanity?

We need the equivalent of a smokey backroom to arrive at a good, CONSERVATIVE nominee (*cough*CRUZ*cough*) early in the race.

Problem is, here's who's in your smokey backroom:

You trust these guys to arrive at a conservative nominee? Really?

The Republicans have nothing worth a damn. All wimps. The last real MAN we had was Ronald Regan. We will never see the same again. We need a real statesmen not a bunch of whining kids.

Maybe Romney was not perfect. But the choice between King Obama and Romney wasn't even a child's pick. But we see that the Republican voters decided they would prefer a King than an effective administrator with plenty of business savvy. Too bad we have such ignorance in our party. Why should he. He was screwed once and once is enough. So enjoy your King, the communists black Muslim traitor.

It’s like us Gator fans being stuck with Muschamp, we’re stuck with the “Muschamp” of political candidates.

Mitt is a dangerous weather vane. It got him, for instance, into the ironic position of spearheading the pestilential national drive to “gay marriage.” Massachusetts liberals wanted it and Mitt asked them “How high do I jump?”

But even a weather vane works if the wind is blowing the right way. That’s more than can be said for Democrats who will be contrary just to be contrary.

Post 19 - finally some sanity....when you asked who these pollsters questioned.

Truth is, a poll at this juncture is LESS THAN MEANINGLESS - and yep, it’s a Freep orgy of bitterness and despair.

You’re right - what have the Republicans been doing for the past 2 (or 6) years? Well, they’d be fine with Romney, for one thing.

Double Barf-O-Rama Alert!

...and the Women’s Auxiliary barfed all over the Benevolent Order of Antelopes. And Lardass just sat back and enjoyed what he’d created -- A complete and total barf-o-rama!

This is what happens when people idolize mortals. Oh, we wish we had Ronald Reagan. Well how many wish we had Jesus Christ? You can vote for Him as much as you choose, in your heart.
