Are we trying to change our politicians instead of changing our convictions to be something better? (and I am referring to the masses)

I would agree that we need to be changing the convictions of the masses; this should be an on-going part of our lives.

Most of what you say I will accept. I do however see one critical difference.

Almost all the problems consuming the American public right now are different.

Beheadings in your face, government spying on media, Ebola, mass illegal immigration sponsored by the whitehouse, Veterans Administration scandals, Obamacare, Red line jello policies, crisis golf, Nuclear Iran, mistreatment of Israel, and a list too long to finish.............are not the brickworks of liberal politics. These problems are a side effect of liberal/progressive, Obamastyle nonsense. The public knows it. The public wants to move on and close the chapter on Obama.

Romney and Ann Romney are the easy choices to most. Bad choices, yes.

So, FL47, how do you ignore the fact that Mitt Romney supported the following as reasons why he lost?

1. Supported Abortion
2. Supported the Gay Agenda
3. Supported Socialized medicine
4. Supports Amnesty
5. Supported Global Warming
6. Anti-2nd Amendment.

Knowing that this is the history of Mitt Romney, and that many conservatives who bothered to research out and become knowledgeable about Mitt Romney knew the same, HOW DO YOU IGNORE THIS?

If that turd Romney runs again, there will be choices that will spell out in stark differences why he is not the best choice.

This next election will include conservatives that don't have the problems the last batch had.

One of those will be Ted Cruz.

The media hated Reagan as well. Shoot, they even hated George Bush just as much during his second attempt at getting elected in 2004.

They will hate any true conservative.

That is not an excuse or reason for turning your back on Ted Cruz as the best possible option for POTUS.

Sorry, I want the RIGHT person. Our country is in serious trouble and we need a committed policy changer who will help America get back on the right path.

Not every person who wants to be President - IS A GOOD CANDIDATE. I am standing by Ted Cruz; primarily because he’s smarter than any of the others I’ve seen or heard; he’s proven his knowledge by becoming a DEBATE CHAMPION at both Princeton and Harvard. Ted Cruz is a Constitutional scholar - meaning he knows what it says and he believes in it. That is just not true about everybody.

Just being a republican is not the answer. So, you can support Romney, et al, or anybody else you want. I will not support them. For my money .. THERE IS NO OTHER “VIABLE” CANDIDATE.

It’s time to stop pandering to the left and just bring a conservative to the top of the list .. and never forget .. this is the same stuff people were saying about Reagan .. who brought about more than 25 years of a booming economy to America .. and caused this country to rise from the “malaise” of the left.

The left hates Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin because they really fear them. That is exactly what you want.
