Country singer Gretchen Peters worried about pro-life legislation

What scares me about what is happening in the mid-terms in Tennessee is that the amendment that’s on the ballot would actually not provide for abortion in the case of rape or the potential death of the mother. That is extreme….

I got some really quite ugly hate mail, but to me country music has been about adults and real life and the problems they face and I have a responsibility to stand up for the issues I believe in.

~ Country singer Gretchen Peters on the reaction from fans regarding her pro-choice stance in light of the upcoming mid-term elections, BBC News, October 14

So a nascent human life is “a problem we face”.

Got it.

Democrats also believe humans who live after 75 years are “a problem we face”. Just ask Zeke Emannuel, author of Obamacare.

Thanks Gretchen, gonna vote Yes on 1 and will be happy to do so.

Kinda sad tho that a woman is ok with abortuaries having no state regulations. Shows a lack of concern for a woman’s health.

She isn’t a very successful singer, though she apparently does write songs.

By “successful” I mean moving up the charts. If Wikipedia can be trusted (not always), her highest charting hit was back in 1996, and it only reached #68. And her latest album’s top position is #70.

Sounds like she’s embarked on a plan to stay relatively unsuccessful.

Actually, a pretty obscure singer it appears.

Every pro-abortion speaker who states that embryos are not human life were at one point themselves embryos. The fact of which is of course lost on all of them.

The amendment in question doesn’t do anything to stop abortion. All it accomplishes is to lay claim to an illegitimate state power to regulate mass murder.

So, to put it bluntly, this obscure singer’s fears are double dumb.

Gretschen, gretschen, gretschen. Every have a vinyl record album play out on the turntable and you’re too lazy to get up and deal with it? That’s the sound it makes: gretschen, gretschen, gretschen.

She’s never been a very successful singer, but some of the songs she’s written have been big hits.

I think I may have seen here at a house concert a few years ago, to back up your assessment. Will have to ask the wife later.

First off this trailer park skank IS NOT a country music singer. She is a no talent hack that sings poppish songs. Second she is a waste of space baby murderer.

She is ignorant

The amendment provides precisely the politically expedient exceptions she claims it doesn’t
