A convicted felon has been charged with murder for fatally shooting a man at a home in Daly City during an argument over a debt to a prostitute, a prosecutor said Wednesday.

Demond Anthony Spikes, 34, of Hayward allegedly stood over a naked Marcus Brackinridge, 38, around 5:50 a.m. on April 13 and shot him in the stomach and head in the backyard of the victim’s parents’ home on the 500 block of Skyline Drive.

very weird. so let’s see if we can piece it together. did the victim do the prosti at his home, with the pimp present, and then fail to pay, or did he do her somewhere else (a park), and then run home before he put his clothes on, but was shot in his yard??

Enough with the San Francisco bashing. The incident happened in Daly City, south down the peninsula from San Francisco. You would be surprised, but homos are a small minority in SF, lots of straight family people there, many of them Christian. Homos are vocal in politics. But SF has been losing queers in numbers to other cities. The incident happened in the west side of Daly City, also know as little Manila because it's largely populated by Filipinos (again mostly straight Christian families). Lately been a lot of gang activity there, with some shootings.
