Log Cabin Republicans: Can GOP gays win gay South Florida again for Rick Scott?
Miami Herald ^ | September 29, 2014 | Steve Rothaus

An op-ed from Matt Chen of the Broward Republican Executive Committee:

Early voting will begin next week. By Election Day one would presume the demonized homophobic and racist Rick Scott will end up with 95% of the substantial South Florida Gay vote going to Democrat Charlie Crist.

Not so, my friends.

Sure that's hard to understand when the Florida Agenda perpetually portrays the GOP as virulently and violently homophobic. But Gay Democrats have routinely been stunned to find out that 25-35% of Gay voters routinely vote Republican, according to exit polling.

And pass up having Green Iguana come out of the closet at his swearing-in ceremony?

Not all gays are totally defined by the way they screw. Imagine that. Most are though. The vast majority are because that is their primary pinnacle trait and source of self esteem. Look at me, look at me, I’m so gay and fabulous!

I believe it.

Homosexuals buy groceries and gasoline too.

They also want jobs.

Frankly, I have a sneaking suspicion that MOST homosexuals in Florida aren't in a lather over the CONSTITUTION of the state of Florida defining marriage as it has been understood for millenia.

“Gay marriage” is a relatively new craze. A mere few decades ago, if you asked almost any poofter about the idea, he’d tell you that you were nuts.

After reading the full article, I see what it really is...a piece by a pro-homosexual “Republican” who asserts that Demon Rats don’t get all the homosexual vote, according to exit polls.

This fellow, Matt Chen, then asserts that sodomite marriage is a done deal, so why bother griping about it?

Not much substance to the piece as a whole. I do find it disturbing, but not surprising, that there are “leaders” in the Broward Republican party who are so devoid of the notion of moral absolutes.

Agree.

It wouldn't surprise me much if double-digit percentages of other "minority groups" also vote Republican/Conservative. They just aren't loud.

VILE VILE VILE

And I want to say the GOP is officially dead if the ad pic shown in the article is for real. The Repuke National Committee logo emblazoned on a DESECRATED American flag.

GO TO HELL GOP!
