A Southern California woman is out of a job and facing death threats after she used her cell phone to videotape an encounter with a homeowner over a Mexican flag flying in the homeowner’s front yard — and published the video on YouTube.
The woman, Tressy Capps, a political activist and a city council candidate in a town amid the Inland Empire’s endless suburbia, placed the video on YouTube on Aug. 11, 2014.
“Hello? Hi. Is that a Mexican flag in your front yard,” Capps asks, pleasantly enough, in the video.
The woman to whom she is speaking, Maria Banuelos, is standing behind a window. Banuelos doesn’t respond because she doesn’t speak English, reports CBS Los Angeles.

Growing up in New York no one ever flew their Irish or American flags without the American flag next to and above the flag of the old country. And if they did the neighbors would have it stopped, not the government and not the newspapers

If it’s different there now, it’s because American citizens are weak babies who spend eight hours every weekend day doing something other than taking out the rules and regs of our country taking the little time to learn them, ensure that their kids are learning them at home or In school and enforcing them, instead of depending on someone else to do that job

This woman’s right to enforce the care and treatment of our flag and to resist colonization by Mexico into her home is taken away.
And by people who say foreign flag display is ok. No big deal

Citizens can either defend the country they are given or lose it.
And you can be sure that when we Irish were moving in and not assimilating right away there were no Irish flags flown. And the locals didn’t sit around complaining that the corrupt cops and congress and court system wasn’t doing its job
If there are Irish and other foreign flags flying it is strictly because of the drug addicted, pornography abusing, sports addicted lazy neighbors not doing their jobs. Democrat and republican voters alike.

Mexican flag -- statement of individuality, protected under free speech rights. Hate crime to be remotely critical of observance of these rights.
Confederate battle flag --Hate crime. Must be removed to avoid offending others. No protection under free speech, as it is a hate crime.

I agree, but the Ninth Circuit Court had no business ruling the way they did. Without question the Supremes will shoot down this another if it’s dumb rulings.

Flying the flag of the country you ran away from in the country you fled to is tantamount to an act of war. As Teddy Roosevelt said ‘’ We have room in this nation for only one flag— the American flag’’.
