Cher might be wishing she could turn back time after a new lawsuit claims she was being racist.
According to TMZ, the veteran diva was auditioning dancers for her 2014 Dressed To Kill tour when choreographer Kevin Wilson had a particular liking for a "minority female dancer."
Cher allegedly told Wilson to seek out a white, blonde dancer, saying, "We have too much color onstage." He claims in the suit that she also requested not to cast "anymore dark skinned black dancers on the tour."

Yep, she used to really put on a show and gave attendees their monies worth.
But I thought she retired a couple of years ago, you know, the last tour and all that?

I rarely click on an article about celbrity news, but it’s good to have this little bit of Schadenfreude to add to my day.

Yeah, she joked about that.
She shows her age, but she was respectful of the old stuff. I know many entertainers want to do “new” stuff, but she knows what side the bread it buttered.
Personally, I think the dancer stuff is over-kill. Her voice was strong and she was truly entertaining.
You aren’t permitted request the kind of diversity she was asking for.

I’m getting past all of that and stating that Lucy & Desi and then Sonny & Cher broke down a lot of barriers, particularly in my parents’ generation (born 1923). Through humor, they had them laughing at themselves for a whole lot of their prejudices.
