Robin Shepherd who is the owner/publisher of The Commentator in which this piece appears is the Director of International Affairs at the Henry Jackson Society. It is believed that he was previously fired from his job at Chatham House (The Royal Institute of International Affairs) because of his pro-Israel position.

As America has learned, you better be careful what you vote for.

Scotland, please note.

If Bangladesh can be an independent country, why not Scotland?

I don't know alot about the situation but I believe people should be free to choose their own destiny. Even if it's the wrong choice.

Scotland must now face this fact: most of their income will come from North Sea petroleum production and export. What happens to an independent Scotland when the oil and natural gas run out? In that case, they're in major financial trouble, because their famous whisky industry won't be anywhere close enough to generate revenue for that country's treasury.

With the USA now dramatically increasing oil and gas production and Europe now looking at increased Norwegian oil and gas production, an independence for Scotland may now look a lot less attractive.

The left took over their education system as it did ours. Train the youth to destroy the founding and the untested and unknowing youth vote will destroy them just as the youth vote. Is destroying us. I would be ashamed to be a teacher today.

OTOH, here's an interesting approach..sort of a conundrum, eh?:

The best argument for Scottish Independence? If they vote no, Piers Morgan says he's coming back to the US
