I agree that the entire free world must do battle with IS. But there are strategic reasons for doing that, not just the fact that they are subhuman crud buckets. Getting all worked up about their latest atrocity and using that as a casus beli is a good tactic, for that matter. You have to get the public behind a war, and waving a bloody shirt is one way to do it.

But what I can't stand is the sense that Captain Bass Ackwards Biden has just mounted his horse the wrong way and shouted "CHARGE!!!" without even putting his feet in the stirrups, and this is the first thought that Team Obama has had about war planning.

What's especially worrisome is that they've picked a murdered Jew's bloody shirt to wave around. When things go wrong in an ill-thought-out campaign, which is what this is looking like, guess whom the usual suspects will blame. Perhaps that's what they did plan on. They waited through the slaughter of the Christians, the Yazidis, and Foley, until they got a reversible victim; changes to member of scapegoat nation with the push of a button.
