From the context, I think what he meant was we weren’t blaming Islam or Islamists or Arabs for 9/11. We’re just going after individual criminals. Therefore, this is not a war, but a criminal investigation.

The fantasy all along was that terrorists were just criminals and should be treated as such. If they were fighting a war against us that would require a declaration of war and would kill the multicultural communist basis of liberalism.

I am from the Boston area and this Boston Strong is a sick joke. Most people won't pinpoint Islam as the problem and they harass people such as Pamela Geller who doesn't even mention Islam in her poster -- just jihad. With the Boston courts harassment of Pamela Geller about her defeat jihad posters, we should not be saying Boston strong, but, rather, Boston spines made of linguine.
