Obama and the 9/11 murderers [Never Forget BO's reaction to terror]

.....On September 19, 2001, a story ran in the Hyde Park Herald containing then-State-Senator Barack Obama’s response to the 9/11 tragedy. In this piece (quoted in this article from the New Yorker, under the heading “The Speech”), Obama expresses empathy for the murderers! Not anger, not disdain, not a word of sympathy for the victims. His concern was for the murderers.....

Quoting Obama in the Hyde Park Herald:

"We must also engage, however, in the more difficult task of understanding the sources of such madness. The essence of this tragedy, it seems to me, derives from a fundamental absence of empathy on the part of the attackers: an inability to imagine, or connect with, the humanity and suffering of others. Such a failure of empathy, such numbness to the pain of a child or the desperation of a parent, is not innate; nor, history tells us, is it unique to a particular culture, religion, or ethnicity. It may find expression in a particular brand of violence, and may be channeled by particular demagogues or fanatics. Most often, though, it grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair."

So where is his rhetoric of ISIS being victims of “poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair”?

Brak Ubama to Bob Woodward: “we can absorb a terrorist attack. We’ll do everything we can to prevent it, but even a 9/11, even the biggest attack ever…we absorbed it and we are stronger.” July 2010

Leftists frequently blame the victims and sympathize with the criminals. Look at how many democRATS in government used to be criminal defense attorneys.

a fundamental absence of empathy ... an inability to imagine, or connect with, the humanity and suffering of others.

Pretty well describes Obama.

So many clues we ignored. He's told US his intent, his allies and his enemies, though not always directly. So, is it obvious now whose or what side is he on?

That we put someone of such a polar opposite mindset as the single human to be our pure-bred, all-American representative here and around the world is surreal, as is the transformation of the once revered national symbol that office represents.

"It" definitely has US under it's spell. It's been around the world and now it's got US and the infection has spread to every part of the body America.

“It may find expression in a particular brand of violence, and may be channeled by particular demagogues or fanatics. Most often, though, it grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair.”

So, now we know what his agenda is in his education, economic, and healthcare policies. Create the situation where millions are angry and despairing then bring in the revolutionists who will spur the ignorant masses to riot.

A$$hole. Their poverty, ignorance, helplessness and despair are because they devote their miserable lives to hating and murdering Christians and Jews.

It wasn’t a lack of empathy that drove the 911 terrorists to kill thousands. It was hatred of anyone not Muslim.

I don’t think Obama wrote those words before he spoke them. It reads like something Bill Ayres wrote for him.

On page 261 of the paperback edition of “Audacity of Hope” Obama wrote: “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”
