The White House says Obama has changed his plans for Friday and will return to Washington late in the evening after fundraisers in Rhode Island and New York. He had planned to spend the night in New York. Presidential aides say the change in plans was not related to any current events and was the president's personal choice.
Obama will spend Saturday morning in Washington, then return to New York later in the day for the wedding of his personal chef Sam Kass and MSNBC host Alex Wagner.

Well just as a fact check. Sam the chef is a boy and Alex Wagner is a girl. Alex is short for Alexandra.
So he is actually attending a traditional wedding, for what it is worth.
All he cares about is social issues, changing how this country looks, and fund raising.
He has no idea what so ever.
The timing of this is suspicious. Since this is Labor Day weekend I wouldn’t be surprised if he signs the amnesty EO. He’ll give a Rose Garden presser and frame it as a way to help “undocumented workers” come out of the shadows. The lapdog media will be more than happy to make the Labor Day/”undocumented workers” theme work for for their boss.

UPDATE/FRIDAY 10 AM: White House announces that due to elevated terror threat, President Obama is cancelling weekend in Westchester, trip to Rhode Island, but will attend fundraisers in New Rochelle and Purchase Friday afternoon.

His personal chef is marrying an msnbc host? msnbc will now be even closer to the white hut. Maybe they can also give them the Lincoln bedroom to use as an office.
