Let's see. That's 1400 / 20 / 6 = 11.66 each per year. Each of them would have to do only one a month on average.
I have no doubt there are many, many more perps. But the number of victims in and of itself does not mean those already convicted weren't capable of doing all this by themselves.
BTW, I keep reading about cops treating the victims with contempt. But I haven't seen any commentary on the ethnic heritage of the cops in question. Contempt for victims of sexual abuse seems much more likely to be a Muslim than a white English value.
These cops should be tried and hung on this one. No one's buying that 'racist crap' on something this serious.
I'd like to think you're right, but I wouldn't count on it. UK has been under socialist rule since before WW2, and has all but abandoned its Christian heritage. The comments sections in their online news sources are full of stories of "jobsworths" (petty local bureaucrats and town officials) who make their lives a misery with nitpicking regulations and big-money citations for tiny offenses.
In my experience here in the increasingly socialist U.S., the victims of bullying are seldom supported or defended -- only the bullies, until a child hangs him- or herself, at which point the wagons are circled around the bullies and the school, and the parents are left to grieve on Facebook. Sign of the times: "Their hearts are grown cold."

UK has a complex socialist system of policing tied to social work administration, town governance and even secret courts that decide family matters. Since UK has so many muslims living in their midst, and since this story goes back 20 years, I can see how this blackout got started, since they do not have the same Bill of Rights we do, and often lock people up for speech issues like "racism" or "promoting hate" (preaching Christianity); but surely it should have been exposed long before this.
Another of my links above was from a white female reporter who tried to bust the story open and got flamed for her trouble. And in other European nations, especially Sweden, muslim males have been having a field day raping blonds for sport, with little to stop them. Recently UK has started to wake up because they have a child abuse scandal among their white ethnic population involving media stars, parliament officials and schoolmasters abusing children, so I guess it just had to spill over finally to this outrage.
This is creeping sharia in action. And we will have it here unless people wake up.

Their parents (who should be ashamed for putting their children in this danger) pay coyotes (human smugglers) up to $6,000 dollars with the belief that their children will get to come to the USA for a better life.
About 1/3 of the girls are raped on the journey.
Teenage girls, and in some cases pre teen.
Many travel on the TOP of trains, quite dangerous.
Many die from hardship and danger on the way, and many are killed by the coyotes. Who then can pocket the money and go get more kids.
