That he was even willing to do an interview with a “progressive” publication like the Huffington Post was the first clue. But whatever his motives, Glenn Beck is making his gradual shift away from conservatism apparent for all to see.
And it has some now-former fans hopping mad, especially at sites such as Free Republic and Breitbart, where he’s being blasted as opportunistic and shifting with the winds for the sake of gaining Blaze TV carriage on major cable systems, among other allegations. Others focus on his (not as right-wing as some believe) Mormon faith as the driving force.

It makes total sense that he would give this interview to the Huffington Post. After all, Arianna became a media darling after she renounced the conservative cause that she took on in order to hook/beard her multimillionaire gay Republican husband.
They are both opportunist hucksters. The only difference is that Arianna cries less then Glenn

There are some folks really hurting right now in Missouri, and I bet if he did a "Restoring Ferguson" and showed up there with semi-trailers full of basketballs, $200 shoes, blunts and malt liquor, the mainstream media would be interested enough to cover that. You know they would.
When he decided gay marriage was a great idea, that should have given conservatives pause.

Beck got his national start defending Terri Schiavo when few other of the American people would. Now where does he stand?
I don’t have a problem condemning him. The guy belittled Cliven Bundy; he made that grandly dramatic (naturally) announcement that he would “stand” with GLAAD; and of course there’s his emotion-based Santa Clause errand to the border.
Whatever he did in the past, he’s used up all that capital.
I don’t go to his site, listen to his interviews, or pay attention to him in any way. As far as I am concerned, he is simply gone.
