It had seemed to the four clean-cut college freshman that night like a typical McDonald’s: spanking clean, well-lighted, and safe. It was in a good neighborhood too, right next to Texas A&M University in College Station – a campus known for its friendly atmosphere and official down-home greeting: “howdy”
Out on a double date, the two couples pulled into the parking lot of so-called “University McDonald’s” shortly after 2 a.m. that Sunday – and beheld a scene unlike anything portrayed in all those wholesome McDonald’s television commercials. Before them, hundreds of young black males were loitering about, some without shirts.
Other local residents — the more cynical and world-weary, both whites and most blacks — would have taken one look at the crowd and driven off, dismissing many of the young and posturing black males as thugs. But not them: innocent white kids from the suburbs. They presumed this was post-racial America — and that they were in an easy-going college town.
Twenty minutes later, two of them were dead.
Incredibly, the race of the assailants was scrubbed from local news coverage; and utterly missing from tersely written wire-service stories about a Brazos County jury’s whopping $27 million negligence verdict on July 30 against “University McDonald’s” – an outlet owned by the Oak Brook, Illinois-based fast-food giant. What the media considered unmentionable nevertheless loomed over a riveting seven-day trial, which came amid the growing phenomenon of black-on-white violence — unprovoked attacks on whites and black mob violence like the so-called “knock-out game.”
Chris Hamilton, lead lawyer of the small Dallas firm that humbled the corporate giant, was asked, during a phone interview, how many reporters had even bothered to inquire about the race of the assailants during the many interviews he gave.
“You’re the only one,” he replied.

How are the store managers expected to keep the customers safe? Wouldn’t that be racial profiling? Are the clerks supposed to be armed? How would THAT fly in the media? How would THAT fly with Holder and Obama?

Reminds me of the time I was going to Nashville TN one night. My wife and mom insisted I stop at the next station so they could go to the restroom. I wanted to go on to a well lit rest area but NO! They insisted the next station.
I spotted an isolated station sign and pulled off the road and didn’t like what I saw.
My headlights showed about a dozen or more cars all parked around the outside of the parking area, all facing inward, all had two or more black men in them. No loitering, no talking, no interaction. All were setting and watching for something.
I said I didn’t like this but THEY insisted I let them out to go to the restroom.
So they got out, and I grabbed my two 9MM 13 shot pistols just in case.
They got halfway to the door when they came to their senses! Came back to the car and said “Let’s get out of here!”
They found they COULD wait till I found a well lighted place on down the road.
For some reason I’ve found that when a woman wants to eat or pee they use all sense of security and are oblivious to what is going on around them.
Dangerous animals should always be chained.

The points and advice he gives in “The Talk” could be debated honestly only if politically correctness was eliminated.
I am not advocating, just saying, that is a message that is being sent. Law abiding citizen's rights could be compromised in a justified self defense situation, so consider carefully.

this is just like the Islam butchery, how does one truly know which black or muslim is one of the good nonviolent ones. There really is no way to distinguish the good from the bad so might as well start by taking them all out when this kind of crap happens. Doing the rest of us a favor by cleaning up their gene pool.
Well, ‘beaten to death’ means the perps were ‘unarmed’ and therefore not a threat... right?

College Station sure has changed since I was there.
Bit since the ABSOLUTE number of black males is so small it shows how pat logic their behavior is.
Unless I was so pickled that I couldn’t stand up, I’m certain I would have gotten out of there at top speed.
Yes, and some of the points are debatable or not relevant.
But not putting yourself into a situation where there are tons of shirtless young men hanging around a place at 2 AM is prudent.
Whether they be black or white or whatever.
Identify the leader. Target him first.
