It had seemed to the four clean-cut college freshman that night like a typical McDonald’s: spanking clean, well-lighted, and safe. It was in a good neighborhood too, right next to Texas A&M University in College Station – a campus known for its friendly atmosphere and official down-home greeting: “howdy”
Out on a double date, the two couples pulled into the parking lot of so-called “University McDonald’s” shortly after 2 a.m. that Sunday – and beheld a scene unlike anything portrayed in all those wholesome McDonald’s television commercials. Before them, hundreds of young black males were loitering about, some without shirts.
Other local residents — the more cynical and world-weary, both whites and most blacks — would have taken one look at the crowd and driven off, dismissing many of the young and posturing black males as thugs. But not them: innocent white kids from the suburbs. They presumed this was post-racial America — and that they were in an easy-going college town.
Twenty minutes later, two of them were dead.
Incredibly, the race of the assailants was scrubbed from local news coverage; and utterly missing from tersely written wire-service stories about a Brazos County jury’s whopping $27 million negligence verdict on July 30 against “University McDonald’s” – an outlet owned by the Oak Brook, Illinois-based fast-food giant. What the media considered unmentionable nevertheless loomed over a riveting seven-day trial, which came amid the growing phenomenon of black-on-white violence — unprovoked attacks on whites and black mob violence like the so-called “knock-out game.”
Chris Hamilton, lead lawyer of the small Dallas firm that humbled the corporate giant, was asked, during a phone interview, how many reporters had even bothered to inquire about the race of the assailants during the many interviews he gave.
“You’re the only one,” he replied.

I tend to at least be suspicious, if not downright avoid,
any place that I see having 2 or more “loiterers”, regardless of “color”.
I’ve picked “the next” gas station in just such a scenario.
Obama and the race baiters have gotten blacks so much on edge that we live in a tinderbox. Many have the attitude that white people are all just looking for an excuse to string them up and so they are always defensive and are quick to go on the offense for anything that can even be slightly misconstrued as racist.
Just like the journalist that lost his head, personal safety is ones own responsibility...being caught unaware is one thing, jumping into the lions den with a pork chop tied around your neck is asking for trouble as Clint said, ‘dying ain’t much of a living’...

As the lone Texas Ranger was heading off to stop a riot, he was asked why he was the only one going. His reply was that there was only one riot.
You fire off two rounds, two people hit the floor, the rest would be hauling tail.

Only Jews rush a weapon as a group (Warsaw Ghetto), and crazy American soldiers (any war we fought in). Everybody else turns tail.
I suspect two things:
1) Black McD manager was probably posting good sales from the late night thug business.
2) If they saw past #1, McDonald’s corporate feared doing anything to control these “teens”, or even implying extra security was needed for massed “teens”, lest they face civil rights suits or a visit from the Justus Dept.
The media deliberately and intentionally, with full awareness, suppresses information that doesn’t fit their agenda. It makes up things to fit their agenda.
This story alone proves that the US NEWS cannot be trusted to report accurate and unbiased information.
Unless armed and aware - why would anyone at this point go to an area with mix skin color...it’s not right, but with the race baiters getting worst and this Administration pouring gasoline on the fire - why would any common sense person do that?
Unbelievable...and McDonalds was the one who had to pay out - not the ones involved...because they were victims of society too, you know (sarc/)
McDonald's was beyond a shadow of a doubt liable, if the facts presented in this story are true.
You do not allow people to just "hang out" at a retail place of business. You do not allow shirtless people into your place of business and you sure as heck to not allow hundreds of people to hang out shirtless in your parking lot. I am surprised this McDonalds was not fined and shutdown by local government.
If I saw anything remotely close to what was going on there at my little beer joint I'd immediately shut the place down and tell everyone to go home. (Which I have been known to do on rare occasions) Customer safety is a primary responsibility of every business owner.
Never that simple.

While in line a nearby high school let out, like a swarm of locust.
Suddenly most of the whites are displaced from the front of the line.
As I placed my order I took a very hard shove!Not an accident. Fortunately I was already jammed to the counter.
Now I have been around the block a few times, broken knuckles, broken nose... been shot too; have the gong and scars to prove it.
I’m carrying and I practice.
I ignored it; paid and got the hell out !

These kids had been drinking. That also will lead to irreversible mistakes.

I wrote that before I read the whole story. Looks like the manager was at fault.
Seriously, a small number of white people entering a large gathering of young black people of low character, is so incredibly stupid that this should be put down to natural selection.
After reading all the Mike Brown bullshit and now this story, I feel like registering whitepeoplegonnariot.Com just so we all have a place to organize our riots.
Oh yeah, we don’t riot or loot. Nevermind.
use a revolver, preferably 44 caliber...eliminates the need to gather brass.
